Just curious when you guys plant your corn for a food plot? We are going to try sweet corn this year so we can pick it for our use, but obviously for the deer as well. My old man picked up a corn planter thing, and we are going to space out the rows at about 30 inches and hopefully get some pumpkin seeds down in the middle of the rows as well. Anyways, whats a good time to plant the corn? And when do you think the corn would be at the point where it starts falling off the stalks / hardening up (I read that's when the deer really like to consume these guys). Thanks

Ouch, I live in Nassau, I'm not paying 15k for taxes, granted mine are high, not that high though. Then again, I live in Levittown, so a majority of our taxes are subsidized by the big businesses along Hempstead tpk... Regardless, I agree, its out of control.

Just to add to this conversion, I did get to speak via email briefly with the guys at Antler Ice. He seems like a nice guy trying to start a business, and from NY to boot. As I said via email, I'll give it a try this season and let you all know my results I'll put it where I stick my trail cam's in the summer months coming up before the hunting season as well and see how effective it is. After I checked out the website, and the concept, it does sound interesting if the concept / idea's work.

Just tagging on to what Geno said... I asked him to join the mod team last week, and he can tell you exactly what I said.... He asked Ok what do you want me to do as a Mod.. I said nothing really, just remove the curses and delete spammers and let everything be what it is. I hate forums that moderate the piss out of everything it ruins the whole deal. I just wish there was less bashing but I'm not going to babysit things... With all the growth we have had over the last two years we have banned one single person (multiple times, but still one person). With that said, please keep the unnecessary bashing to a minimum its not needed here. There really is an unbelievable great community of people here, and I hope to see you all at the the 3D Shoot in March.
