It was an amazing game. D was solid! Deion Branch can go cry all he wants, that dude was taunting and talking crap the whole game and has the nerve to call the Jets classless.. What a freaking tool.
-
Ahh a better I don't think he does, its the media that plays up what he says. If the Jets can beat the Pats then there is no reason they can't beat the Stealers.

Eddie, you should checkout the winch I got.. Viper, it was a great price and amazing quality. I used it a few times this year along, raised a tree stand with it, and also moved a tree. For the 2011 season I'd like to setup few more tree stands and grab another trail cam. I think I am going to get a new sight and arrows for the bow too!

FYI: http://www.nysportsmensshow.com/?page_id=290/ Unfortunately we have postponed our upcoming NY Sportsmen’s Outdoor Expo to be held at the Nassau Coliseum January 28-30, 2011. The decision to postpone was a difficult one and made necessary by the exorbitant costs associated with producing a show at the Nassau Coliseum. We are currently in talks, actively pursuing other venues on Long Island that would allow us to produce an affordable and profitable show that everyone can benefit from. I would like to still put on a show this year. The dates that I have in mind are March 11-13 which would directly follow the Suffern Show that is being held March 4-6 this year. In terms of your space payments, I ask that you give me a week or two, to figure out whether or not we can make this happen this year. If we can great. Everything can remain status quo. If we can’t then obviously you will be receiving a full refund shortly. If you would like your payment back now please send me an email and I will take care of it immediately. I am truly appreciative of your continued support and I apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

I have not, but I will for sure this year!

So I have two 1 acre plots on 125 acres... The 2 1 acre plots were all we could afford to have cleared this y ear. There are zero farms with in ~5 miles in any direction. There are zero fields on my property, its all wooded. Just curious what your thoughts on my two small plots would be? I still fail to see the difference between hunting over a food plot versus hunting over a apple orchards or farmers plots that you do. If there happen to be a 20 acre apple orchard there, planted by someone in the past, what would your opinion be then? No deer were harvested on our plots, in fact, I spend 90% of my hunting time this year hunting in the woods. The plots got some great trail cam pics, most of which were at night. Turkeys seemed to love the plot during the day times, I saw as 30+ personally during bow. (video below) Anyways, regardless, a plot is a plot whether it was there before you hunted it, if a farmer harvests it, or if you planted it... There is zero difference in the end. On one field we planted a mix of stuff the local seed source suggested and the other we did some whitetail blend.

Welp, its a huge investment... Jumping into a Z7 even as a seasoned hunter is a HUGE investment. If you have the cash to burn, more power to you. It comes down to getting the best bow for your budget. If the Mission felt good and fits your budget go for it. I got the PSE Brute 2 years ago, and love it. It was in my range, its a solid bow, and could not be happier. I love to support the local shops, and do so for a lot of smaller things. However, for this purchase, I actually bought mine online through another non-local small shop which saved me over $100. However, as a novice, its great to buy from a local shop in case of any problems, tuning, etc. Anyways, consider all your options, shoot as many as possible, then pick what you like best that fits the budget you have.

Welcome to the forum.

I can see that being the problem for sure, I can't imagine what it must cost. But, then again, the last thing you want to do is alienate / misinform the very people that pay to go I'd rather see them pick a smaller venue, charge less for the vendors and visitors and have a successful show... There are plenty of other locations for them to hold the event.

Apparently the guy I spoke with on the phone was wrong about updating the site (he said they were updating it with in the hour)... 24 hours later it still states the same. It's a shame, I know a lot of people that said they have went there in the past and wanted to go this year. You'd think they would keep their followers informed, especially those who pay to go.

They are going to update their website today. I just got off the phone with them, its being postponed to roughly March, they are in the process of trying to secure a new location to hold the event.
-
Did they mention any kind of date or? I tried emailing the contact on their website last month, and never herd back.

Something is wrong with your figures Eddie.... Beer either way, wood stove or not would have been consumed, so that needs to be removed from the final costs.
