    Yeah, it was cold this weekend. But I was hoping that cold weather would get the deer going! I love hunting in the snow, you can see forever. Get out there and fill those DMP's!!! Maybe its time to build a perm ground blind with a buddy heater

    Im not going to make it up this weekend but I do want to get up the following weekend for muzzle loader.

    No luck this past weekend... It was cold and snowing lightly the whole weekend... Sunday morning I thought I see something, but Nada! I could see forever because there was a 1/2 inch or so of snow on the ground.

    Its been averaging about 32 day and 22 at night... But i am not sure what the ground condition is.

    I was checking mine every three weeks to a month. But almost every time, with in 3 hours there was deer walking buy right after I swapped the memory card.

    I think there was something for ducks, not food plots though.

    I actually just got some stew meat from my uncle today. I'm going to crockpot it up next week, might use the recipe someone posted on here.

    up until recently (2-3 year or so) there was no revenue from a dmp tag... Plus as a lifetime license holder, I'll never have to pay for a DMP.
