  1. Wow that looks like a tree house
  2. Yeah really, they wait hours before going and getting the deer... And its always so dramatic.
  3. Maybe eventually they will charge us Lifetimers for shipping, else we have to pick it up in person?
  4. Nice, good to know. I wonder how those compare to the Vortex
  5. Yes they sell them, but that has nothing to do whether they are legal for use or not.
  6. Mets just shut out the Yanks 4 - 0.
  7. got this email, sharing it... $10.00 Off... Your Merchandise Order of $99 or More, in addition to the Sale discounts! Coupon Code: SG1529 HURRY! Good through June 24, 2010
  8. Whatever works, I used tabs until about 4 years ago
  9. Yeah I remember those... Good times.
  10. NYBow - I'm more then likely getting ahead of myself. I'd love to get something down this year, but will that happen? No idea. We have a lot of things going on @ the property that will take precedence. More then likely it will be next year, but like I said I'd love to get something going this year. Now lets say I can't get it done by August? what are the alternatives that you know of if it was September say?
  11. Eventually that's the goal, to be a generic NY hunting forum, as more and more hunters join the site.
  12. The cabin is coming from Kuhns Brothers http://www.kuhnsbros.com/
  13. Sounds great, thanks. I'm hoping to get the thing limed in early august. So maybe I'll have a little time to plant something for the fall.
  14. Wow, that yote looks part dog. Looks like he was big, nice mount.
  15. I moved the convo over here for the food plot discussion: http://huntingny.com/forums/index.php/topic,186.msg1102.html#msg1102
  16. Figured I'd move my conversation w/NYBowhunter over here to talk about the field I'm going to attempt to do this year... The field will be two 1 acre (or just under) rectangular plots. They are going to be separated by about 40 yards of trees each. NYBowHunter: Its at the top of our hill, where it levels off. There is a spring about 50 yards away. So the Turnip / Brassica grows in august i'm guessing... When would you plant clover?
  17. NYBowHunter - Looks like I'll be doing a field a lot sooner then I thought! They are clearing the field next week, we have loggers there clearing the plot for a cabin, and figured since they are there get them to do the field. Do you have a good place to send soil samples out to? And I guess after that the best thing to do is to lime the crap out of it? Wonder if there is any chance of growing something this year.
  18. Doc, Deer are not color blind I was reading it somewhere, I need to find the source. They may be blind to some colors / spectrums...
