  2. In case of those, like me, doesn't know what grouse is : http://www.animaltrial.com/grousebird.html
  3. LOL I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they have catheters on 24/7 I was explaining to a buddy at work what I was reading about (this thread) yesterday, and he goes " Maybe they just give it a lot of beer the day of, works for me! "
  4. After seeing what WNYBuckHunter had said about the Vortex Optics scopes I did a little research. I really can not find a negative review about them, they seem to be a solid US company offering a quality scope at somewhat affordable prices. My old man has a Leupold scope, something I definitely cant afford now nor in the near future. It's a great scope, i sighted the rifle in last weekend actually. However, I don't want to spend that kind of money, I cant justify it. Anyways, I was curious what everyone else uses. And if they have or have come across the Vortex scopes.
  5. I'll start this off... I started with a 35 that I borrowed from my uncle. Then my other uncle loaned me his 30-06 Remington bushmaster. I've had that 30-06 for about 5 years, he called me yesterday, and we were talking, he told me to keep it Needless to say I'm happy, and appreciate it. Its a great gun, I treat it well. Its got mixed reviews, but more then likely its from those who abuse it. So far its been a solid gun, and its dead on. I have a Bushnell 4x-12x banner scope, which I am thinking about upgrading. Looking at the http://www.vortexoptics.com/category/products since a member in the forums mentioned them. (Made In the USA, and affordable!) Pic (sorry its crappy, iphone camera SUCKS)

  9. Ah ok, thanks for the info.
  10. Those racks are HUGE... What do you feed them up there?
  11. Wow, thats crazy. Wonder how it died? Its a monster rack. The ATV tire thing is pretty funny.
  12. you can download it directly to your PC, thats the best way.
  13. Wow, never seen one myself. Didn't really realize there were that many in NY?
  14. Elmer, least you got your stuff back. Fantail, that sucks. I guess it happens more then one would think.
  15. The only thing thats bad about that incredible that I saw, is the battery life is horrible. My brother has the droid, and he loves it.
  16. I just got off the phone with a friend, he said he had went upstate about a month ago and found his trail camera was stolen and also his ladder stand. Both were locked to the tree's, so they cut the chains. Crazy...
  17. The spot its in is nice, real nice. We are going to build one there for sure. The one that was up was a POS... I think I put a sign right on the tree already too.
  18. NYBowhunter - Nice set of bucks there! Fairgame - I hope so!!
  19. I know there are a few hunting clubs near by thats why I asked... And I know there was a tree stand on our property that the previous owner didn't put up, it was fresh. We posted everything well, i'm more concerned for safety then anything else.
