actually statistically young hunters with ink still drying on their safety certificates are the safest hunters. It was never set up for september first. License will be valid september 1st. That is the only part about 9/1.

it can change for next year whether you have tags or not. This was set well over a year ago. Not something they thought up this week. The new license year will be 9/1 to 8/31. So even if they do not change the dates to 10/1 you can hunt on 9/27, with your new years tags only. It is the way it is going to be. This is part of why they took the system off line for a few days. to upgrade these things. Your old tags will not be good as I can guarantee you the "early":season is going to be gone.

I never said that making drives and shooting deer off them was unethical. I have done it for years. But I must say I never took a shot at a running deer in a drive. You can stop a deer pretty well or let it go. the anti's do not need this I agree but why serve itr up to them on a silver platter.

He stated it was an emotional time and something had to be done. I asked did you vote with your emotions or your mind. He would not respond. he said there are things in the works to change it. I asked when do you plan to push the legislation out of committee. he dismissed me. My own assemblywoman refused to meet with me. She told me I needed tio make an appointment and dismissed me.

umm they want to negate the using last years tags. That is part of the plan. I never said the powers to be were brilliant. if they just changed it to 10/1, people would be upset. change the license date, then it takes it away and people get used to it, then poof it is 10/1. The thought is people use others tags or do not tag deer to save tags for those 4 days. Plus they shoot anytning just to burn the tag. They hope yo legislate ethics.

umm bow season opened here on 9/27 forever. The sz moved theirs up to 10/1. It is only 4 days difference if they do not move it.

I have a hard time calling this guy a hunter in the sportsman way hunting should be.why on earth would you video this other than to brag how great you are? Is that a sportsman? Not in my neighborhood.

All I am saying is if they voted against it, it does not mean they are against it. But if you get warm and fuzzy because they voted against it, good for you. It really is not that simple, but to some simple is better.

The truth of the matter is ethics are different to everyone. Ones definition of ethics can vary extremely from the next persons. What one hunter will do sometimes the next hunter would not think of doing. So to sit here and make a 12 page thread about ethics I find to be at the least humorous and the best idiotic. lets see who can pee the furthest too. My ethics are better than yours. Let us try some reality ok. This guy did what most would not think of doing and he filmed it for our enjoyment. Do you think that was random or planned? I wonder how many times he tried the same thing and screwed it up and we did not see that video. I am willing to bet a few at least.
