  1. I totally disagree. How did anyone ever clean a gun before all the gimmick cleaners hit the market. Clean your gun with a solvent, then clean it with boiling water and patches and see how unclean it is with the solvent. Getting the water out is simple. It is called patches. Convenience is not always better. I have been using smokepoles since early 70's and have not lost a barrel yet
  2. How is getting off the road and out of your car make it legal to shoot a deer on someone else'e property? The deer belong to the state, but the property belongs to someone else. That would be like saying well the deer was on my neighbors property, but the deer belongs to the state so it is ok to shoot it. The law states you cannot shoot from the maintained portion of the highway which includes the ditch line. My question would be are you sure it was shot and not hit by the vehicle? Either way they have no right to trespass to get the deer.
  3. I am in many groups including leader groups from organizations all across the state and I have seen nothing about these patches anywhere. I am a bit leery but will do soem more research. OP please Pm me maybe we know each and if legit, I will help you sell these
  4. I hear ya. And actually it has never been early bow it is late bow. late season for the tags. I personally expect them to eliminate those 4 days in the next couple years and start on 10/1
  5. Then fill them now. Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  6. Ok so we have determined a shotgun can kill someone as dead as a rifle in an idiots hands. Now back to the sandwich. Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  7. That is the plan and to switch the 4 days to that years tags. You will still be able to hunt those days with new tags. Just 4 days earlier. Plus fishing licenses will be valid for one year from date of purchase Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  8. Lol Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  9. No response about the sandwich.but it has become interesting. I was going to challenge with my red Ryder but it would not be fair? Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  10. I refuse to murder a perfectly good tree to stick it in my house. (j/K) But when I am here alone and will go to my daughters for the holiday, so I put up the artificial at the insistance of my daughter
  11. My land i surrounded by private land. we all have an agreement that if it crosses go get it. Just call first and after you are done s we all know you are out of there. If I am there, I will go help. One guy only hunts tuesday and wednesday his pass days from work. If he calls and I am at work, he can still go.
  12. This is the end of regular season here in the NZ. This has been the worst for me in 25 years at least for seeing deer. They seem to totally shut off as soon as the nuts all fell from the trees. A week of muzzleloading coming up starting tomorrow. l hope it is better as I can take a doe this next week.
  13. I will be 55 in 2 weeks. I am no spring chicken. I agree if i was in an area like that i would not hunt Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  14. Then most people in the sz must be horrible shots or most of you woyld be dead or staying out of the woods. Two fatilities a year would be nothing . It just does not add up Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  15. Again if i felt my life was in that much danger. I would stay out of the woods. To me it would be like running into a fully engolfed structure fire knowing i could easily die. In reality if it were that bad people woyld not go. And if the inate danger were how is it more people do not get shot? Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  16. Serious question where does this large fear of being shot start? I mean you did not get up one day and just say i am terrified i will be shot. I can not believe it is primak instinct. Does someone instill this fear un you? Do you sit un the woods terrified? Do you feel the same when you get in the car to drive? Seems almost irrational to even go if you are that scared. I was taught to be safe and to know what i was shooting at Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  17. Oh and i have never found a carcass in the parking area and i do not feel a sense of entitlement that i have to tell others how many points a buck has to have before they can shoot it but find it great to put a dmp on a button buck and justify it by saying i need it to feed my family but pass on a larger crotch horn with more meat so i can be like some phony on tv Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  18. I do not lock my camp ever. I have not had anything stolen. We in the north do not call others names when they say they would do thinngs ethically and legally. I do not have to wear a Halloween pumpkin costume to have others, not shoot me even on state land. We do not get on websites and gripe hunters are unethical if they come in thr woodd looking for a deer they wounded. We would help them look and drag the deer and be happy they got it not pissed they ruined our day. Want anymore examples Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  19. Look at the majority of the posts with the differences un hunting styles and how things are done. It speaks for itself Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2

  21. if you do not get in an hour or.more before light you are not settled in for shooting a deer 45 minutes before legal light as some here say they doSent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
  22. and the entire attitude also.Sent from my LGL35G using Tapatalk 2
