    Get it clean,get the amperage right (my down fall) & follow the hot puddle with the rod in circular motions to get good penatration. Practice, practice,practice! If you blow a hole in your project back off, let it cool then go back & fill it in. When cutting metal you push the hot puddle . good luck & practice.

    Just to let guys know, I did the white vinegar wipe down on the antlers & they seem a bit whiter & shined up nice with a little gloss to them. Also no smoking in this house ever. thanks again for info.

    You can get gunsmithing out of the hunting magazines & on line ,do it as a hobby. Did you look into border patrol jobs? My nephew has & it seems very interesting. They are doing alot of hireing lately.

    I have not hunted Hadley Creek but did hunt in the area. Take a look at Trophy Bow hunters of Ill. I hunted with them, I did'nt take one but others did take some real trophy s. I had one at 18 yds but no clear shot. Also saw one 150 yds away with 2x4s on his head!! Monster bucks! Also check out Flint Ridge Outfitters in Ohio they have monsters too.

    The antlers on my 20 year old deer mount have turned yellow, does anyone know how to clean them & make them look like a fresh kill? Thanks for any info.

    I use one of the old folding wooden chairs like from the old firehalls & churches use to have yaers ago. It works great & I can sit for hours. I fold it & put a shoulder strap on it & put it over my shoulder & across my chest & can walk for ever. If you put the strap on it right it will stay closed while on your shoulder. It sets up in seconds & won't sink into the ground due to the cross members.

    I registered mine , dumbist thing I ever did I feel , I agree what for? can't ride on road have no trail system in wny., need permission to cross private property! I feel if it is registered, plated , insured, we should be able to ride them like a snowmobile or motorcycle ! They allow the stupid mini cycles & the over sized golf carts that go 30 mph. on the road my atv goes 55,what the hell!!

    I live in & hunt #9. I hunt in Allegany, catt., erie, & wyoming co.s. . I hunt mostly for deer & turkey. For deer I use bow & muzzle loader, will take slug gun if weather is wet. Another good web site here is Huntingwny.com which is more local to wny. area if youare interested.
