    how do you use your prussik the first time up every time you climb a new tree with your climber stand? I agree the prussik is great for a stand in the same tree every time.

    I say 270 spring or 30-06 . Kenaxe-7 the 270 short mag is nice if you want to spend all your money on the ammo. ( $45.00 + per box of 20)

    Thanks for the info. I feel the problem is more of an expandsion/diameter thing than a lenght problem. I am waiting for the replacement plug & hope it works ,I can try other primers if needed. What do you guys use to carry your extra primers in,in the field for a quick reload? I have been dealing with a Bob at M.U. about this .

    Thanks for the info. guys . I contacted M.U. & a new breech plug is on its way. Thanks Bubba if I have problems with the new one I may contact you, or I may go back to the o.e. I like the safety of seeing the orange tab also.

    tie your haul ropes on the front of the seat half where you sit when you climb or tie them around your wrist . also check out the" Q-safe climbing strap" for around the tree when you are climbing it works along with the safety harness, I got one this year & it works really slick & quick.

    I have a new M.U. breech pulg in my N.E.F. 50 cal. Huntsman. I shot it today for the first time . The problem is I shot it 12 - 15 times & I had to pry out the spent primers useing a knife & pliers . This will not do ! Does anyone know why this would be happening & what can be done to fix this problem?? Any help would be great & A.S.A.P.!! Thanks

    The NRA called today & they are looking for 1 million new members to join the fight against the U.N. & its World Wide Ban on All firearms!! I am sure everyone on this site is a member already, if not now is the time to support them & this cause, the vote on this ban is coming up this year!! This is a world wide ban people!!

    Dip in milk & flour salt & pepper & fry it slow until brown don't over cook it's the best!! (slice it thin). Add home fries that tops it off!! I pickled it once but over cooked it , bad news. It is good if done rite.

    Even with good blood trail ,back out or wait longer , took 3.5 hrs. of tracking ,he laid down 7-8 times , but got him in the end!

    40 years ago we planned our wedding around my deer season. We went on a honey moon to Wash. D.C. came home after a week & I Ieft for deer camp for the next week. She claims I go from spring turkey hunting to fishing all summer, into archery deer ,fall turkey, reg. deer,then muzzleloader deer. I don't know where she comes up with this idea, but it does seem to work out that way!! Anyway it will be 41 years this Nov.7 th. & she is still here, lucky I guess. I got a good boat/ fishing story too.

    Just wondering what guys use for safety systems on your climbing stands? I just found this Q- Safe strap will always be straped in when climbing, seems like a good idea, has anyone used one? See at www.blindedhunting.com any thoughts?

    I fish lake erie & ontario. Love to fish walleye , perch, trout & salmon. Fish erie from Buffalo to Pa. line & western lake ontario. I stay mostly on erie.
