those are bottom bouncers, we use them to keep in contact with the bottom & they pervent the bait/lure from snagging up.Used a lot for fishing lake erie walleye & on the lower niagara river drifting for trout & salmon.

the anti freeze also stops the smell if you don't get there to empty it often.

try sticking it in bakeing soda for a while then put it in a plastic bag with a earth scent disc until hunting season. jm2cents

I heard if you rub a dryer sheet on arms, legs, etc. that it does keep bugs away. I think my sister does it .

I would say no, our regs. are as soon as the water line gets in side the basement wall. then the meter.

The battery back up is only as good as the well maintained battery. Most people forget about them once installed, also I was told even a good battery will only last 6-8 hrs. at a time. My son in law has the water pressure back up & it works great, just need a water supply line to hook it up to & it uses 2-3 gals. of water to get rid of 1 gal. but thats better than a flooded area I guess. just my 2 cents.

I agree it sucks! Plus when I pull my boat my mpg. goes from 17 down to 9. Then I got to fill the boat ,95 gal. My fish cost about $1,200 bucks per. ## > Might spend more time watching the grass grow this summer!!

What ever you get make sure you can come to full draw if using a bow. I have an older Ameristep which I can't come to full draw in unless end of arrow is out first, but works great for guns. jmo.

When I was out there last season we were told that Hadley creek was going under & Drury brothers broke ties with them. I also read somewhere that because pike co. is so popular that the deer population has been declineing & size is dropping. ( D&DH or F&S)?? Don't know how true this is?

First on the anti's, if you go to "ussportsmenalliance.com" on their home page they have a running talley of the monies they have collected its well over 100 million $$. they are out to get us in my opinion. I also belive Toruk-Makto hit the nail on the head. To get a person into hunting it takes a lot of money now days, guns ,ammo, camo clothes, etc. I also agree that if a kid sits for hours & doesn't see any game they get bored big time. When I started hunting we had phesants and rabbits and lots of action which made it fun we didn't have time to get bored. I also think that kids would rather sit on the computers all day than go outside & what would they ever do if they had to gut & drag a deer out of the woods! And they did lower the archery age to 12 yrs.old. or at least it passed the state senate.

Ny, I just used my deer broad head no wires. 100 gr. muzzy did the job.

I use 2 3/4" mag #5 or #6 12 ga. full choke and don't shoot until the bird is within 30-35 yds. I enjoy seeing how close I can get them in. The closest ever was about 12yds. I just like to see them strut & sound off. I did take 1 with the bow about 15 yds 2yrs ago from a blind that's fun.

check out elite archery .com saw them at the local sports show they looked good. I did not try them. I think they are made in N.Y.

I have tried a tubeing cutter & was told it can splinter/weaken the end of carbon arrows & makes them unsafe & they can split from the pressure of the rollers on the cutter.

It was 7am - 5pm at one time & I beleive it was 1/2 hr before & 1/2 hr after at one time also years ago. If you are going to shoot Too early or too late you might as well shoot one in the middle of july or at night with a light , its just as wrong & illegal ! Jmo.
