  1. I just shot a doe at 100 yards with a 20 gauge 2 3/4" Remington AccuTipps. The slug went through both sets of lungs, and exited low. I had the hardest time finding a blood trail. Find her 75 yards away . after skinning and butchering I could not believe the damage. Wish the trailing was easier. (null)
  2. People have GOT to get over themselves. My yearling doe thread was pounced upon. It was funny as heck. Bucks do not taste as good as doe's... Unless you season the crap out of them. God bless America and the freedom that some of us have bled for. So please folks GO hunting taking your kids with and kill anything that you will EAT. We killed a few bucks the last 3 weekends on the property I hunt and I'm having the hArdest time finding a recipe for the damned horns. Deadeer can you help a fellow hunter out, seems u got 'sperience in dis matter. Only kidding. . HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! John, thank god I don't have yo yob!

  19. Had to do it once, over twenty years ago. was hunting with my brother-in-law and his friends . I was on stand over a ridge. and one of his cousins was walking around. I was watching a 4 pointer walking towards me and this moron shot it over 400 yards, it was 50 yards from me. He spined it and the deer was trying to get away. he came over it and froze. I yelled at him and he did not move, he could not shoot it or anything. i left my rifle were i was. Started shaking this jacharse, no response. I took his rifle to shoot the deer, it was jammed. At this point my heart is breaking, I took my Buck Knife and put it out of his misery. When the clan gathered they all congratulated him, as if he idd something right... ARGH!!!!!!! That was the last time I hunted with those fools. It still pisses me off.
  20. I'm also in the market for a pistol. A friend of mine named Tom went hunting in Delhi opening day with some family. During the second day he heard his cousin calling out on the radio, Tom went to him as he heard a shot. The guy was being attacked by a 250 black bear, who he was coming out of his den. When Tom got there the bruin was getting up from a shot in the shoulder, Tom shot him in the head with a 7mm magnum. He still ran a bit and died. The moral of the story, you never know when you are going to need a pistol for a bruin. Me personally am looking at a ruger redhawk or super redhawk. My 2 cents.
