Think my bow is around 260 fps. Not a speed demon but like you when i pull my arrows i get alot of penetration

Yes i shoot a WB. Love the simplicity of it. Ive had dropaways and still have a limbdriver in my box. But its hard for me to switch to anything else. Fps loss or not its a great rest

Thats what i was thinking. Maybe 125 grain head. I know this arrow has alot of whack already with 100 grain lol

This is one of the arrows ive already made up. Its what i shoot normally. Just added a broadhead to it for the foc measurements....seems low to me

This is feeding into exactly what they want. I see a handful of posters just waiting to bait you in. Ive seen it in my threads and dont even respond to it. Taking the high road...means just ignore it. Let them run their mouths from behind a keyboard. I actually think its quite funny half the garbage these guys spew out. Is it overkill the lengths they go to? Heck yeah. But it will always be that way. Its either their way or no way. Basically just let it go, or continue to be baited into an online argument.

Ive always wanted to try those quickspins i have. But not sure how they will hold up to the whiskerbiscuit. Never had issues with the blazers or vanetecs.

Oct 16. Had a staredown for ten minutes with one of the big does thats been busting me. She finally gave up and walked towards a shooting lane. Two more steps...then my dad walked into his stand and she spotted him. Ah well! At least now i know for a fact where they are coming from. I need to move about 30 yards deeper in and i should be all set!

Should i go with heavier vanes? Or stick to blazers at this point?

Right now with blazers and a wrap with 100 grain im at 10.09 foc according to the calculator

So as i sit here and decide how i want to build these 2413 eastons...figured id ask a few questions. Im shooting sonic pro broadheads, which vanes would you shoot? Ive got blazers, vanetecs in all sorts of sizes, quikspins...im not really after a light setup as with blazers right now im around 435 grains. Also, should i align the blades of my broadheads with the vanes? Ive heard it helps with traditional style heads. But ive gotten decent flight without aligning them before. Any thoughts?

Just waiting to see how long it takes this thread to go south. Its amazing how a thread about some relevant can turn into a peeing match about absolutely nothing. I stand by the saying of take it to private message. Some of us actually want info and a civil conversation, not have to read through 3 pages of chest thumping, holier than thou garbage.

Dont regret saying it. Few years back we went down for gun season in the southern tier, and our host had some trail cam pictures of one from about 2 miles away. It was a mountain lion, there was no denying it. I think they are here, and dec laughs it off like oh crap the people are onto us!

It was strange this time. I havent hunted this spot for quite a few days. After the stare off she basically kept feeding along. Usually they wouldve blown and hightailed it out of there. Had my dad not come walking in, im almost positive i wouldve gotten a shot. Two more steps and i wouldve gotten a shot
