  1. Yotes might be safe but the cat should be very afraid.
  2. Why would anyone buy more than 1 of what they need - said the pot to the kettle
  3. I played there once when I used to play. We played whatever the championship course is - Aduyote. It was fun, but a tough course. I suspect you would do just fine, but the rest of us hacks better bring a few balls. At the least the forecaddie saved me a few times. I did not realize you retired from golf. Oh, and I will attend if dates work unless voted off the island before then.
  4. You have reason to be proud. Congrats to him. It’s a very selfless decision. Bless him throughout his service and beyond.
  5. chiavettas is great with chicken but I would have went with the imitation crab not lobster. lol
  6. Prayers sent Dom. Sorry for your loss. 64 is too young.
  7. really not bad in Rochester - a bit breezy but not bad
  8. 1.5hrs - about the same as your average commute downstate - good solution
  9. Yep - you can definitely get more house up here for that kind of scratch, but it aint NYC commuting distance
  10. Gotcha - I thought when you referenced that number, it was hunting property. Around here, a house in the S1mm range, which is an extremely nice home by any standard, runs about $30k/yr in taxes.
  11. Sure can - if you own property worth $2.5mm down there, taxes will be around $50k/yr. Hypothetically speaking.
  12. I have left my son in charge of this project. I think he said 1/3 of the nuts will be ready to plant this week. I forgot the term he used, but essentially, he split the nuts into 3 groups with a split as to when they will be ready. Sounds like yours are doing well.
  13. Average property tax rate for Webster NY is 3.1% vs 1.9% for Westchester. For vacant land, those rates will drop significantly. My neighbor where my hunting property is located pays a little over $200k/yr for property taxes and owns over 7,000 acres, as a point of reference.
  14. Is this guy also the tax assessor for your property? I am seeing a bit of a trend here.
  15. at 350-500/hr for plumbing work, he better do it right.
  16. Your lawyers are relatively reasonable. You need a new plumber.
  17. Ahhhh - not really but if you retain me for anything, we can arrange that.
  18. There you go. Storm's plumber is paying!
