  1. Lol. He is coming up this way. Not sure he is bringing Sis but she is more than welcome.
  2. I am sure I will be corrected if wrong but I know there was a 10pt all white Buck like that - not sure it’s actually albino- killed by a youth in Michigan a few years ago. Received death threats. Ridiculous.
  3. Ding ding ding - confident enough that ATV is coming along (no swamps lol) so no dragging.
  4. I am expecting to learn from many years of accumulated wisdom along with years of accumulated dirty ole man jokes today. Anyone want to guess with whom I am hunting? Its not Dick Cheney.
  5. Seems to me that while the bucks were winning in bow, the game is real close now. Lots of good ones taken since opener.
  6. Great job Grampy. That’s what persistence does. No deer for 3 straight days and then BBD!
  7. Figured Andrew had this covered. I use the folding chair technique to avoid squatting. Lol
  8. Some turn of the Head makes the deer look more alive IMO. I don’t have any straight on mounts. My personal fav is the wall pedestal especially with a big bodied buck
  9. No pics. Mucky marsh and I made the big mistake of riding the same rut out that I created going in to get a deer. Stay on the fresh cattails when it’s really wet like now and I would have been ok. Buried 1/2 pretty deep.
  10. True wealth of knowledge of all thIngs hunting or fishing too, among other things.
  11. Yep over 1000 loaded up with everything. Reeltime is lean but strong. We were maxing out for sure.
  12. This is true Dan but you are right there with him.
  13. Such a nice guy to drive an hour to help me out with the stuck ATV. Way above and beyond what anyone can ask. And he really didn’t know me that well. Thanks my friend. Hope I can repay the favor. And enjoyed the conversation. Hope we get a chance to catch up under better circumstances . Long story short, we picked up front end and pushed it over on to fresh reeds. Enough for me to drive out from there. Always amazed at the quality of the people I meet on this forum.
  14. You roll it to break suction? I tried but couldn’t budge it. Then again the thing weighs 1000 without suction. Lol
  15. Thanks Lar. Heading over shortly with Reeltime. Even if I couldn’t get it out I suspect he can!
