true - although seems like weak link would be trailer to truck. I can't fit much a lock in that hole that locks the tongue on. -

Yep - tying through the rims to each corner worked really well but I will likely come up with something simpler but yet safe so that I don't have to mess with 4 ratchet straps. I might just invest in that mighty tite system. Looks so simple, drive into chocks and connect to hitch receiver - done - easy on and off. Plus they have videos where they hang the entire trailer in the air and the ATV doesn't go anywhere. Kind pricey though and certainly overkill. -

Why cam straps? They just never seem as secure to me. -

Aren’t the half shafts that go from differential to each wheel also called axles? I really am not sure but that is what I thought he meant. -
I am probably with you on this Larry. I like the 3 piece because you can swing it right in front of your right or left hand for minimal movement. I tend to text and surf a bit too much.

I like it. Maybe The Webster Originals. Nomads former neighbors can join. -

Follow Up Question re Tilling

But that's work. lol You are probably right but would love to simply ride and spread, at least for the heavier fertilizer. -

You mean drive over it first and then seed? Also, thoughts on a spreader. All of the electric ATV ones have crap reviews. I thought maybe a tow behind (yay using the ATV) or just do it by hand. Appreciate the advice. -

Tuesday and weds are rain so that would have to do. Thanks. I guess I will try to get it done this weekend. I can ride over and provide second application. -
Follow Up Question re Tilling

You guys don't think its too early to plant brassicas? And if I plant now, do I also fertilize at the same time. -
Have a buddy with a tractor that offered to go with me this sunday to till two plots. I sprayed one about a week ago with glysophate. The other was not sprayed. Any issue with him tilling and then me planting brassica mix first week of august (2-3 weeks later)? I realize there may be some weeds starting to grow back by then, but I would like to take advantage of the opportunity (especially since the swamp is dry now so we have access to one plot). I will spread fertilizer (19-19-19) as he tills and then we can mix it back in. Figure I will hit the plots with urea later in Sept.

Aint nothing small about that buck. Big as a horse.

Come hunt with me but you have to split the prizes when you win! -
I am with you. Now that I think about it, even with back support that’s unlikely.

Hey now, if you met Dan you couldn’t resist either. Lol

Yep - I was told not to use the axle. I have ratchets to both sides of the hitch receiver and then to each corner of the trailer. Front attaches to the frame and each front corner of the trailer. That said, on the way home, I tried running the straps through the wheels and to each corner and it really held tight for the ride. -
No but the chair looks comfy. lol

I like it in hand, but when its really cold, I will tend to hang it and keep my hands in a muff.
-
My legs go numb on the milk crates - just ask Pygmy. lol For my blinds, I like the redneck seat but its heavy to carry around so not very portable. I also have the huntmore chair which is comfy.

Really is sad. But glad the nightmare is over.

Thanks Bob. Put about 9 miles on her tonight. We had a lot of fun. Saw 9 or 10 Deer including a 2yr buck that let us watch him feed from 10yds away until we got bored with it. He bolted at 5yds. Lol. Been a while since I did anyt kind of trail riding. As usual Natalie was fearless.
