Ok All You ATV Experts
moog5050 replied to moog5050's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
As a quick update, I found this tie down system to be extremely sturdy, easy to install, quick on and off and cheap. I only have a rear wheel set installed and the ATV will not move. I plan on installing a set for the front as added insurance but I don't think its needed. Just an FYI for anyone looking. https://www.amazon.com/Erickson-09160-Wheel-Chock-Tie-Down/dp/B015CJICIK/ref=sr_1_1/145-6611418-4002430?ie=UTF8&qid=1532609155&sr=8-1&keywords=erickson+tie+downs -
From what I understand, the average was so low due to the high percentage of childhood death and soldiers, but 60 was way up there and it appears only the lucky or genetically gifted made it that far unlike today.

Uhhhh, most Romans didn’t live into their 60s. So instead of complaining of shoulder pain, they just died. Statistics are likely worse for the archers of the Roman Emprie.

Happy BDay Jeff. Get that 458 running!

Alpha II I think - shows how much I use it. I have the extra strap and butterfly mount too if you are interested. I would happily trade for the barkalounger even if the LW is more portable.

Trade you for my barely used lone wolf hang on. You wont fall asleep in that.

You guys are kicking butt buddy. Nice!

Get a release, add a big weight to the end and snap line in release. Done. Don't forget to drop the weight with release in the water. heck Andrew is catching fish! Honestly we probably catch as many on dipsey rods as the riggers.

As my father says, its tough getting older but better than the alternative. lol

In defense of the baby boomers (who are mostly those complaining of pain), they are credited with originally making America great so laziness may be overstated. The rest of us have simply rode the train of their successes. At least that's what they tell me!

Nah, some political fund raiser. I should be fine avoiding the whiff, but the skull remains a possibility.

Swinging the club for the first time in 2 years on Friday. Could be ugly. Knock down, hooded, stepped on, I am sure they will all show up I just won't know when.

I will predict high for 8H without checking.

Glysophate Questions

i understand that it is absorbed through actively growing plants. It doesn't prevent new growth after spraying. No it will not kill dormant seeds -

Cool machine. Congrats. Why did you go with tracks? -
when do you start getting serious with trailcams?
moog5050 replied to Robhuntandfish's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
I have debated on this. I know sometimes I think too much about what is on cam at various properties and feel compelled to hunt a property with best bucks on cam only to learn later by other cams that I missed opportunities at a different property. They do feel like a curse at times. But I also enjoy seeing what is around at various locations. If I only hunted one property, I would be less inclined to want to use them at all. They can give reasonably reliable info, but history with a given property can do the same. -
Definitely a personal decision and don't let others dictate that for you. Keep in mind that if you have some does around, even if that is the only buck you have on cam, he may/will not be the only buck you see come rut.

I have not seen those but will add that Dan Infalt's videos are excellent and very educational. No fluff.

That's 40 min of quality time with your classic buick. I don't see the problem! -
I think he was referring to picture rotation being sideways. lol
