  1. Filers in Macedon. I am good at dropping cash quickly. Lots of practice. Haha.
  2. No hijacking concern. Post away. I already placed a deposit on a can am 1000r max limited. After a morning of working the woods together, my wife agreed a quad would have made it 10 times easier. Back to the shop we went and got a decent deal I think. Pick it up Tuesday. So who do you folks use for trailer and ATV insurance?
  3. Everything was auto. I was surprised. HIgh low neutral and reverse. That’s it.
  4. I do that now. But something a bit smaller would be nice! Lol
  5. Starting to seriously think about buying a quad both for fun and to tool around while working at 2 properties. Even if it ain’t a plotting machine it will help me haul stuff in and out and I kinda just want one. Side by side may be a bit to big to hug the field edges without damaging crops. Won’t hurt for hauling Deer out of my property the long way which currently sucks, especially with a less than stable knee. So I am looking at a 2 person machine (to tote the kidos if they want) of at least 700cc. Stopped by and saw a beauty of a can am outlander 1000r. Looked real nice. A bit pricey but I am a buy once exactly what you want person (never really ends up once but that’s what I tell myself). But for those that are really into to ATVs, give me your thoughts and preferences on the big bore machines. I want more a work quad that will also get up and go if I want to play. I don’t want a race machine. Power and durability are the pros I need. Thoughts?
  6. Not your fault TF. Like I said, it happens. Gman May be right.
  7. Yep. unfortunately my wife and kids were underwhelmed. Not sure they will make the trip back again. Too bad as I believe generally the food is good. But these burgers certainly were not pink - gray and dry. The burgers are huge too. Not easy to overcook. But I don't think one bad burger is a fair assessment of the goat. I trust TF's opinion. It happens.
  8. Just killing some time with the family. They thought I was nuts when we pulled up and there was no siding on the place. Lol. Wings and pizza were great. Burgers were over cooked.
  9. I was there today for lunch. Where was everyone?
  10. Not suggesting they are identical. They aren’t. But from the AR platform, it’s reasonably close. Obviously the .270 has greater velocity. A 120g spc 2 with a 200yd zero is about -10” at 300 and a 130g .270 is about -6.5 at 300. There is no 270 offering in the AR platform.
  11. I hate tying knots with braid. Our trolling gear is all mono with flouro leaders. My son use the braid. with his bass gear. I might have to let him know of Grampy's preference.
  12. Way better than my iphone. lol
  13. What camera were you using Chris? The photos (in addition to content) are really nice quality.
  14. 1. Sako Bavarian carbine in 308; 2. Encore pro hunter ML; 3. Savage 220 4. Henry 3030 5. Savage Model 10 predator .243 6. Stag Arms 6.8 spc2 (this one may be moving up the list rapidly) ABOVE ARE ALL TRUE TACKDRIVERS 7. Few other ARs still being “tested”. Did you say 3? Lol
  15. The creedmore, Grendel and spc will all do a nice job I think. The 6.8 spc 2 is similar to a 270 and uses a 270 bullet.
  16. Will do my best Rob! By the way, in our little contest with the guys I hunt with, big buck pays for dinner before opening day. I ain't paying this year. Hope the guys remember buying two meals (one to go) on my tab last year!
  17. I need it to stand next to a 55 gallon drum to estimate. lol Nice bear I think.
  18. Looks like she is having a blast. Great views. Good for her.
  19. The anti keto and low fat diets! Looks worthy of diners driveins and dives.
