  1. Will be praying for her too Zem
  2. I have the 5x8 because it was made for this smoker and if you fill all 3 rows, it will supposedly burn for 12hrs. Started a test tonight and going to see if it makes it until morning. Looking good 2 hours later. Much more consistent than the wood chip burner but I may run both when I smoke meat next time.
  3. Recipe for rub with almonds? How long in the smoker? Have all Sat to play. Lol
  4. So I have a 30" master built electric smoker that I just tried for the first time on Sunday. Worked pretty good but I wanted a bit more consistency with the smoke level. Found this a-maze-n pellet smoker that is designed to cold smoke or add extra smoke and it is awesome. Made specifically for my smoker but works in any closed outdoor grill. Makes slow burning thin blue smoke. Highly recommended and cheap. Even if you wanted to smoke in a grill, it would work. You can cold smoke cheeses and nuts with it too because it produces almost no heat. http://www.amazenproducts.com/
  5. we are cheap on stands. Metal cheap stands are pretty much all we use. 15" is fine. Plus, we can buy twice as many and I hate the gun rests. lol
  6. Thanks Biz! I just grabbed 3 more stands. Good deal on those.
  7. x2 on spott hog. Takes some getting used to adjusting pins, but they are tanks and bright.
  8. If you want to give the benefit of the doubt, tape a note to it explaining that you are the new owner and the stand is on your property without permission. If not removed within 2 weeks, you will remove it. If you really want to know who it is, take the bottom section and leave a note asking the owner if the stand to call you if they want the section back as it's on your property.
  9. I had that same gun as a kid along with a pump bb rifle from crossman.
  10. Me too but I like that old strong tasting buck meat. The older the better. I like to age the meat on the hoof if possible.
  11. I agree but that will be one bada$$ six.
  12. Grampy In college after a night out we would often hit a wing place in the city of Rochester on Monroe Ave. called Country Sweet. The Rochester folks my age will remember it (still one on Mt. Hope). There was a very large (maybe 6'5" and 280lb) guy that worked there that was as flamboyant as you could imagine and he didn't hold back. Literally wore white tall boots with tassels. lol One night I started breaking my buddy's chops by explaining to the guy that my friend loved his boots and he would like to meet him to go shopping together but was too shy to ask. The guy played right along (knowing my buddy had no interest and was nervous that I was breaking chops) and said he would love to go shopping with my friend, as well as some other suggestive comments. My buddy was scared to return there ever again for wings and stayed mad at me for quite a while. lol
  13. I respect that you don't bow to mainstream machismo! But they again, you do carry the 357 in it. lol
  14. And you guys break my chops about a sissy carpet in the truck. I would never, well very rarely, well only on occasion, well only when appropriate carry a purse ... I mean satchel. I am proud to say that I never did succumb to that silly fanny pack trend!
  15. Are my eyes bad, or does that buck lack any brow tines? He is a cool buck. Be nice to have him in velvet.
  16. That will definitely require some serious ammo! Looks like a good start.
  17. Curious on target too. But I understand if you prefer not to post it.
  18. LOL - note the camo crocs with safety orange sole. Key to success in both hunting and fishing (and mowing the law, staining the deck, smoking a brisket, etc.).
  19. Previously, I used either IMG or direct links. Neither will work now. Instead of a picture, it posts a statement that you must upgrade to third party hosting. I have no idea why yours works but its and issue for many PB users. An effort to generate revenue I guess. this is what gets posted when copying and pasting the Img or direct link: Maybe it only applies to people that have posted many PB links in the past. I tried deleting most of my PB library and it still does the same thing.
  20. I can see your pics, but I have no idea why it works for you. Most have been disabled unless you pay the third party hosting fee.
