  1. Guess it wasn't an upset. She wins again and finishes the last 2 turns with 4 of 6 arrows in the bullseye. And I only get one shot. How can I compete. Lol. Time for her to move back a bit.
  2. Lol. She is shooting a kids long bow at 6-8yds. We kinda set some of our own rules to make it fair. 3 shots to 1 and she can make me shoot from wherever she wants. She isn't quite ready for the real thing yet. She does hit the bullseye and inside the first ring quite often though.
  3. She was drawing with her arm for a long time and even 15lbs was a struggle. She seems to have finally figured it out after some drawing practice/exercises without the bow. Major difference as she is getting full shoulder rotation and better alignment. Now all of a sudden, the bow is easy for her to draw and hold. Cool to see the progress. Funny thing is that she prefers the longbow to a compound. Yes I am a proud Dad. I expect her and Phades daughter to be taking the primo stands in no time!
  4. I just told her it might be time to get a tab and a real bow. She was offended by the bow comment. Lol.
  5. So when my 8 year old daughter beats me in a 3D challenge with her little Sioux bow, does that make me a good coach or bad shot? Lol. She is getting pretty decent. Figuring out back tension pretty well.
  6. I will hunt from hang ons but at my weight, I prefer ladder stands with cover, especially when the stand has been out several years. Always nervous a cable will snap.
  7. But then life won't be worth living in Webster anymore Larry. Plus, hunting FL stinks.
  8. Actually, I went to the Penfield Post Office, for whatever that's worth. By the way grampy "Webster is where life is worth living". Its the town motto.
  9. Nah - its a completely acceptable form of payment.
  10. You are "incorrigible" Larry. I used that word for pygmy Larry. Learning moment. He will look it up I am sure. He is trying to expand his vocabulary via the Big Chooch.
  11. I guess it could be mail fraud, but good luck trying to the UA attorney's attention on small purchases. If it was a constant scheme, maybe.
  12. In all seriousness, it is a good way to pay for goods without giving personal info like a check. But you have little recourse, unlike paypal, if you don't get the goods. This buyer can rest assured his goods are ready for him. I just won't try to cash another at a branch. Deposit it at the bank.
  13. Guaranteed to the extent that the branch has $100 in the drawer. lol
  14. On the bright side, they are still delivering mail. My wife just told me that the postal service in Guatemala has ceased completely. You literally have no choice but to use courier services to send a letter, etc.
  15. Grow your questioned assumed a fact that was not true. Of course people would question it. If I pointed at Donald Trump and said "how old do you think that woman is", I suspect the first response from many would be that's not a woman, rather than oh about 70 because she is wrinkled and has a comb over.
  16. I stop at a branch this morning to cash a $100 USPS money order and I am informed they can't do it since they don't have $100. Maybe if I stop back later they will have it. This isn't exactly a small rural branch either. Does it seem as absurd to anyone else as it does to me that the United State Post Office can't honor a money order they issued for a $100 at any time of the day. Ok rant, over.
  17. I still have a 308 Bavarian carbine but the classic is now Grampys. Going to a good home!
  18. Short snout, short ears. I would guess a 1yr old doe but I guess it could be going on 2. It's definitely not a big ole doe.
  19. Never even pulled the barrel on mine. I agree. The pro hunter xt would have been just fine for a few dollars less.
