there looks like there are 2 hole to me... something is going on in that deers back area, you can see the hair all moved around and the deers mouth is hanging open with a hole at the deers jaw. i saw blood around the deer... i would have waited a bit but if the deer dropped and appears to be laying there graveyard dead, i bet that would have happened to more guys then this one.. JMO... there was no flopping around of the deer, no indication of it being alive. even when i see deer drop i still wait it out a bit but dang, that was freaky seeing the eyes open up when he touched the deers leg lol

Soft spot for a work complainer... Bow down to what decision? I'm happy for the hunter I've become and I strive to be better each year. I walk almost a half mile in and another out in every spot I hunt except one, I butcher my own deer and pass more point blank 80-100" deer every season then most see in years of hunting. I don't fall into your outlook a d could careless if I did. Like I stated I was seeing the otherside to your view, that's all. Now stop complaining about others at work. The co-workers are getting pissed at you.

Every deer I've shot but one I butchered since I was 14... Do you two really care who butchers a deer and who doesn't? Life must be a tad boring on your side to worry if others process their deer on their own or not... Some people I would assume do not have the setup or space to do so but enjoy the sport as much as any of us here, does that mean they should be labeled a lesser hunter then you or I or maybe not even hunt due to their processing stradegy? Holy crap, glad its minor. That's scary... Have to dress accordingly... I wear field & stream 1000 rubber boots. Keeps me warm and I only have 1 pair of socks on and it was 18 degrees this morning.

Oh I got with in 12 yards or so before he saw me and I cought him completly off guard.

I went in day after opener just at first light to do my step by step sneak in. Takes me 45 minutes to get to a normal 7 min walk. I snuck up on a bedded basket 8, I could have shot him but not quite what I'm after. I like the occasional go get em plan but I still take every step to be scent free and play the wind when I walk in with out making a sound. The ones who run around gun in hand just tryin to get deer up and hope they have a shot are just a post cause...

100% correct... When they get a gun in hand it's time to walk around and tramps all over everywhere. If people went to their stand and out the same way after their hunt like now season things would be different. Besides you get all the yahoo gun guys who don't now hunt, have a bacon and egg breakfast with fried meat and hit he woods smelling like a deli, yeah that's good for deer movement.
