  1. Beautiful. I am up there every year at least once. Alex bay is heavy tourist trap. Lots of small nick nack shops. I recommend the clayton glass bottom boat tour. If the weather is decent and not stormy. So you can see better. Restaurants are okay. Nothing mind blowing. I'd stick with the tavern. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Oooo looks good. I'm looking hard at the Barnett whitetail hunter 2 and the great reviewed centrepoint sniper 370 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone have recomendations on a decent 400$ crossbow? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. Crossbow is a thought.... however I'd need a mechanical assist. The Injured shoulder is my bow hold arm. Not my draw arm. I would think the stress would be less than on the draw side. Guess I'll start shopping crossbows. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Unfortunately I had shoulder surgery 2 Weeks ago to anchor a tear in my labral. Surgery was on my left arm that holds the bow. So as I sit here healing I've started my annual hunting show binge to prepare for the up coming season. The Downside to all this is that I cant do anything. Cant hang stands, cant set and check cameras. Cant do any land work. In 2 weeks I'll be out of the sling and starting physical therapy. Once that happens I can get my cameras out. I'm looking forward to it. I know many here have had shoulder surgery. How much stress is actually put on the bow shoulder during shooting? Any recomendations for me once I can start practicing again? I shoot 50lbs draw. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. Too be honest it felt a little less sporting those birds were just seeing red their whole 50 yard run straight at us. Wasn't until they fully crested the hill 30 yards from us that they saw our shapes and looked about to hang up. Was a hell of a rush though seeing them come running straight at us. Definitely not something I would do in the woods, or public land, or heck even land that other people hunted. But at the top of a hill in a giant private field I felt safe enough that we weren't going to catch lead. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Of my first ever bird. Walking in had gobbles. Located then on the roost. Not enough time to set up close enough and call them. We crawled up to top of a hill in the field. About 80-100yards off them. They flew down. We layed down on either side behind a tom decoy. At the top of the hill in the field. Took the pair at 30 yards Doubled up. Almost 21lbs. Inch spurs. 9inch beard Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. There was visible surface water in the master when the lid was off.. very shiny. After several fills and purges. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Dropping it back off tonight. Advised them of bleeding the abs vakves.and checking the vacuum... They have a guy who comes in to do those diagnostics apparently. So they will get ahold of him for tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Wheel clyinders? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. Is there a link for that diagnostic brake bleeding available? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  12. Had this done at a mavis/colemuffler.... They should have the ability to activate the diagnostic correct? They must have filled and sucked out the brakes fluid 3 or 4 times before changing the master cynlinder.. due to the water they said the rings in the cylinder were all swollen shut on the 2 bad wheels but bleeding fine on the other 2 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. I was thinking air as well.. No I checked for the booster.. same stiffness with car off.. pumps up about 1/2way. ..and drops upon ignition to the rock wall. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. Just throwing this one out there.. Wife's front caliper seized. Not having the time to diy it like I would in the summer I took it in. Turns out rear seized too. After several hours of work they determined it was water in the lines and fluid was not coming out of the bleeders on the two wheels. Changed master cylinder, new rotors and pads and a caliper on the front. I picked it up and the brake pedal was hard as a rock.. drove it around the block. On general braking the pedal functioned nor.ally. however in some random instances it would be a very slow brake. Causing the vehicle to stop further out than intended. No rhyme or reason to this happening. Standing on the pedal did not "lock" them up. Brought it back. They drove it. Bled the brakes again and said it wss good to go. Now I have more pedal travel. But it still hits a rock wall after an inch or two. Thought it just needed some break in period. I was able to finally get it to lock up today. However I still had two instances of weak brake power causing me to end up with nose in the intersection. This was random and under general braking pressure. It's almost as if the calipers are not squeezing hard enough. No general pull one way or the other. Thoughts? 08 Hyundai elantra Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  15. Thank you for all the responses guys. I got a corded impact drill and a huge high torque low speed rotary drill and New cobalt tip bits. Still no luck or progress. After sinking ten hours into this sob I just went out a bought a new blower. I'm gonna keep the old one even though it's close to 12 years old. It's a husqvarna deluxe model. I'll split it in two over the summer and pull the front end to redo the anger drive and put in a new shaft as well as tune up the engine. Just don't have the space or the patience to do all that in the dead of winter. Once summer comes I can move a lot of the kids stuff outside and have room for a large project like that. 16. No I didn't grease them this spring. Was on the list but got pushed aside. Yes I did drill in steps to get up to the 1/4inch bit. I've already drilled through 3/4 of the pin. Still try punching it out? I've tried heating with a propane torch. No luck. I'm headed to harbor freight today should I grab a heavy impact rotary? Or what about a hotter torch/welder to heat it. 17. My husky snowblower sheared a pin. Typically no big deal. But for some reason this one is fused in there good. Initially tried just some pb blaster and a good punch.. well no dice. After 24 hour soak with pb blaster and multiple applications I still couldn't get it out even using a sledge on the punch. So I started drilling it out.. Well I got it 3/4 of the way drilled out. And I've been through 6 drill bits. 4 cobalt and 2 titanium dewalt bits. Using low pressure and dishsoap to keep things cool and pull up chips. Problem is the damn bits keep dulling. For some reason I can't get through that last bit of the damn bolt/shear pin. I do not have an impact driver just a normal cordless drill.. Could an impact drill or possibly a rotary hammer kit help me out here? I find it ridiculous that bits advertised for hardened and stainless steel are dulling in less that 1/8th or so of drilling. 18. See picture. What exactly is coming off this deer? It doesn't look to be an ear... or coming off the ground. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  19. You will need to wait untill you have residency to start the 6-8months process for the pistol permit... leave em. As far as the ars it's best to leave them in pa.. acquiring the parts to make them ny legal and convert them before you bring them into the state. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  22. Tomorrow is my day to go... do the mid day sit with a tree umbrella 9-2 or take the last hour and a half evening sit? Washout all day 75%+ chance of rain. High 40s Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks that's what I thought last 3 years. Didn't realise I could use bow during gun. Woulda been ticked if I could have used my bow and tag on all the doe I passed this gun season Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  24. Since it is always unclear on some regs. Though you can use the bow during rifle. You cannot use your bow tag correct? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  25. Welcome back! Glad it went well Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
