It needs to be looked at in the context of what was happing at the time, both in St.Louis and nationally. Riots, large numbers of “ protesters “ roaming the streets , committing , arsons, beatings ,looting , the cops basically on stand down , and cites burning , Hell Seattle let them take over 6 plus blocks , taking the residents basically prisoner . These people knew that they were on their own, have seen what was happening , and now it had moved to their doorstep . Just got a shipment of 00 buck in , I’m off to run and gun on my range , wish I had a pink shirt though .

Few cops are doing anything but taking radio calls, nothing proactive. Nobody’s checking out groups on the corner and so on . The less contact with the public the better for their careers and pension . 20 and out ,and Lord help us with what will ever take the test again.

Anything inside the gate they broke down is private property ,street and all, so, yes the street is their property . Now the couple sure could use some training , from manual of arms up through tactics . Taking a high point from inside would have some advantages and disadvantages as well , outside gives them more options. Just like my grand dad and his neighbors during the ‘64 riots here ,they blocked off their streets and stood guard with their shotguns . Yep, test run . The Troopers and RPD ,stood down, and blocked the highway for them , showing them that the cops are not in charge anymore , what an embarrassment. There was perhaps 100 “ protesters “looked like 80% were young white kids , would love to see them try to shut down N. Clinton ave instead .... So now they’re doing it again this Friday at 5:00 PM .

Our land is right down the road from Bullzeye ( that’s the correct spelling ) indoor and outdoor range ( free) . They've done minor adjustments for free while I waited , Ive got no complaints ,the Outdoor store has a ton of Carhartts and such . But the true bonus is two great craft breweries within a stones throw , Irish Mafia is nextdoor ( very good food too ) and Other Half is across 5/20 from them . Im in Webster it’s about 40 minute away , but I’m in that area all the time anyways .

I had a Bausch and Lomb made Bushnell Elite shotgun scope that I got at a very good discount at the plant here, thought I still had it, looks like I don’t . I do have a Nikon 3x9 BDC rifle scope sitting around , with rings . If you think you can make this work , I’d ship it to, you for $50 ? It came off my daughters rifle after she got scoped , ( not responsible for blood ) . She now uses a red dot, which at about 75 yards covers a LOT of the target ,something to keep in mind if you go that route .

My FD hosted a “Gorilla Golf “ tournament every year , they could never go,back to the same course the following year . No cargo shorts ..... there were guys in cut off jeans, combat boots, tank tops playing the course with a Louisville Slugger , driving carts across the greens .

I’ve hired this guy to picket out front of the course.

Joking , just never picked it up . I golfed 2x in high school ,so like ‘76 . Buddy has a club and bucket of balls at his camp , the object is to hit them over his pond . I hit only two , but well past and straight as a preacher, I had to convince some that I don’t play ,seems easy enough though .....
