  1. yes. The brassica act as a cover crop for the white clovers. Most of the growth of the whites will take place under ground during the fall. Come spring they will pop! Brassica and clover go well together.
  2. plant our Hitlist Clover with brassica blend. You will have fall food and than left with a nice perennial plot of clover come spring.
  3. my land is posted and people don't respect the land owner. They ignore the posted signs and trespass. Can you imagine what would happen if my land wasn't posted? I worked very hard to buy my land. NO THANKS.
  4. I understand...I would hinge cut some of those trees where you want to clear for the food plot...you would have a food plot this fall!
  5. plant winter grains..you will be fine mid September.
  6. it's probably a early maturing soybeans group 1.0. He may just want it for silage and doesn't care about seed production? Either way I would guess most of it still will be green come October 1st.
  7. note to all. disc in 60-90lbs of urea an acre and you should get 24" inches of growth providing mother nature cooperates.
  8. we appreciate your business. I'm confident you all will be happy with our seed. Thanks again for your support!
  9. sorry land! it was indeed a lot of money..especially the loss of the pumpkins. Lost my commercial customers over it.
  10. DINSDALE, beef. he didn't offer anything for my loss. The next time it happens I will take a different approach.
  11. I had the sheriff come over and he said something to the fact that cattle are not considered domestic animals and they are classified as wild I believe he said. If it happens this year again, my actions will be different.
  12. no it was my land. they got through the fence. The farmer didn't pay for any damages....he was like they know the grass is greener on your side. I was pretty mad to say the least. yes the prices are good.
  13. farmers cows got onto our property and destroyed 10 acres of corn, 5 acres of pumpkins and 5 acres of brassica. Putting in the pumpkins this weekend and hope they don't break through the fence again! We get our pumpkin seed from seedway and johny seeds.
  14. the seed label will tell you the variety of ag soybeans..i believe they use pioneer but was wondering the variety. Thanks.
  15. let em grown, what are the varieties of soybeans in that bag?
  16. if all goes well these next few days...I will be planting the corn, sweet corn, soybeans and DeerAG blends.
  17. We never let a annual plot sit idle. We will plant a plow down in spring than what ever we want to hunt over come fall.
  18. you can plant in the spring but not ideal. it just wont grow as well.
  19. millets and NWSG are good for bird habitat. Keep the pounds per acre down on the NWSG's so the birds can move through it. Soft mass like elderberry, blackberry and other berries are good.
  20. Grow, I appreciate that. Honestly, we are priced on the low side compared to other commercial seed companies and we provide better blends.,,i.e our white clover mix is all white clover.
