    I stayed home to hand out candy and my wife took him to her grams house ,he hit up about 10 houses in search of a red sucker . Heres a nice sideways picture of him as a pirate.

    Probably 15 kids total , i was actually surprised how many neighbors just turn their lights off for the night. I have a giant bag of candy that is getting abandoned on the break table at work tomorrow .

    Ive been hearing stories lately about guys who are putting posted signs on stateland to claim a section for the selves. I wont hunt state land with a map downloaded on my GPS just in case that happens to me.

    They have a 3 pin option ,I leave mine locked at 20,30,40 for hunting situations but could be adjusted at anytime . I use my top pin as the floater.

    Ya ,last sunday on my walk out of the woods . I barely made it to 9 AM in the stand and took the long way back so i didn't mess with my dads hunt and a spike was harassing a group of doe , the one i shot stayed around and i was able to get within 30 yards and put a perfect shot through the heart. I never bothered taking a picture ,except of the triangle shaped hole in the heart but didn't want to post that.

    This is my 27th season and my first deer off the ground was last sunday . I've never even came close until then .

    In the dark ? If it's light out then absolutely no sling . I'd really like to use my hiking poles when i walk to the top of the hill in the morning ,i always do that walk in the dark.

    I thought mine seemed loud in the rain also ,i've always sat in the rain with no umbrella and never saw deer either .

    I shoot a 3 pin HHA ,the set up process is very easy . There is an alternative set up process that uses 20 and 40 i believe .
