  1. I built one as a kid ,I shot a tater so high I ,lost sight of it .It left a wet mark in the street less then 5 feet from the neighbors car ,I can't even imagine what it would have done to that trunk lid.
  2. I was waiting for the right time to ask if you switched sights ,LOL . I'm reading this and thinking "what the hell sight did he switch to for reaching out to 80+ yards."
  3. I watched a couple videos of guys finishing those 80 percent receivers, it was a kit or something so that guys could use a typical drill press and some jigs to finish the work that was needed , I cringed for more then half of it ,watching them plow drills in and seeing the drill deflecting and screaming for mercy ,LOL.
  4. I still haven't gotten the feeling of hunting season yet , it's that first morning when you leave for work and the air just feels or smells different ,hard to explain.
  5. A half way decent machinist could build any of those part with just a manual mill , those have been available to the public for who knows how long.
  6. You can use the same CAD program to generate a tool path for a mill or a printer ,the difference comes when you select the tool path file to save as . The genius part of 3d printing is that a feature that is currently solid to add strength can now be made hollow or like a honey comb inside to still achieve the same strength as a solid but lighter weight.
  7. A CNC machine removes material from a solid block of material . A CNC printer adds material in thin layers to build a part from nothing .
  8. They have printers that can print with inconel currently
  9. Except for the people who have the ability to use metal in their printer ,it's still new technology but a lot of businesses are already doing it.
  10. The printer doesn't ever have to be online ,it's plenty easy enough to save on a flash drive .
  11. This will set up the "need" to track ammo sales quite nicely.
  12. My wife wanted to try one of those meal delivery services , I could take a pic of the recipe but the amounts aren't shown because it all comes ready to cook portions.
  13. Chicken Adobo vermicelli bowl ,with rice noodles.
  14. I still blame the parents of these lunatics
  15. Ya,i don't use it anywhere that I could shoot over 100 yards ,simple crosshairs will do . My biggest complaint with the cheap one is fogging and ice .
  16. The joke was to keep it swinging so as to avoid hot spots.
  17. Not currently ,just for the birds . His plan is to turn that corner of the yard into the grilling/smoking/cooking area and run water to the sink to keep hands clean during the process eventually.
  18. I told him if he wanted to eat some to feel free , he told me he wasn't really In to it. I remember thinking "ya right he'll eat some" he definitely ate some.
  19. Few packs of ground left , long story short ,the majority of my last season deer was eaten by the guy I was storing my meat in his freezer til I got a new one . That was an awkward phone call . Hey, can I stop over and grab that meat from your freezer ? LONG PAUSE Oh dude ,I ate it . Lesson learned and at least it got eaten.
  20. I have a bushnell elite on my 30-06 , ill look around and see what I can find .
  21. When I first purchased it ,money was tight and I went with a cheap scope . I have more of a budget now and was curious what you guy are using . I would typically spend the money for a good scope but the smoke pole really only sees 2 weeks of use a year . What are you guys using ? Ive decided that flip up caps are 100 percent necessary . I can't count the number of times ive gotten snow and ice built up on the glass while walking through brush.
  22. I found the cheapest prices for the stuff I was looking for at fish USA , they had hooks on sale for 10 bucks for a 25 pack.
  23. Where is everybody buying their tackle? I need to reload for the salmon season . I need 15lb trilene big game ,seaguar flouro and gamakatsu 1/0 hooks.
