    Afternoon hunt was a complete bust ,not a single deer.

    I saw 3 different bucks cruising around this morning,got back out here at 2 and nothing yet in friendship.

    The kid next door is riding his dirtbike on his track. I wanna go say something to him . He Is coasting into the corners and I can also tell he is riding a gear to low on the straight aways.

    My tootsies are cold in these rubber boots ,I keep going through my head how i could mount a heater buddy to the front of my stand.

    One sided spike came through ,walked 5 feet from a wick with antler ice on it and never even looked at. Stuff is complete garbage.

    The go pro is garbage on a bow ,they have their place and a bow is not one of them , 40 yards away looks like a half mile.

    We've had the pleasure of passing on small deer for the last few years ,a couple weeks ago ,we discovered a whole gang of people went in on the 300 acre lease next to us , I don't see them giving any deer the pass. They have 3 prison style guard towers in one field.

    The 46 and 48s they put behind the Cummins were way to weak for that engine,it's no secret.

    You could almost watch my old 2000 silverado rust before your eyes ,that truck had the worst rust problem I've ever seen ,the drive train was rock solid with 200k ,unfortunately it's of no use if the frame holding it had rot holes through it. Stupid trucks.

    You might be better off thinning the center out and leaving the outside thick ,deer love a good funnel.

    I absolutely hate dodge trucks (rot boxes and their auto trainy suck)but that Cummins is a bad mo fo , they have to do very little every couple years to keep up with the latest and greatest the other companies put out.

    Spin the pulleys by hand with the belt off, the ones that sound like old roller skates should be changed.

    Not so much the spraying part ,just their general hack mentality towards hunting.

    I wish I could find a tree like that where we hunt ,the 90 acres we hunt in friendship has been selective cut for many years and all the trees are singles,straight as an arrow.

    My biggest fear about crossbows is it will bring alot of the pray and spray hacks into the woods early , pressure the deer too much and shutdown the daytime activity . Disclosure :Not all gun Hunters are pray and spray hacks ,we all know the ones I'm talking about.

    Usually so I can see them coming. I had to have a discussion with one of the neighbors a few years ago because my ladder stand was about 15 yards off his property ,facing his property ,I always hunted that stand facing the tree ,it was at the top of the hill and I had no trees to keep the deer from skylighting me ,I had to use the tree to conceal me.
