    I'm still waiting to hear from my buddy to see if we can get out on the hill,Cuba got slammed with rain and his Creek turns nasty in a hurry. I could be in for a weekend of bridge retrieval . As I was typing this is got a text message saying the bridge was washed out ,looks like I'll be rebuilding a bridge this weekend.

    It doesn't affect the accuracy as far as the barrel to scope are concerned , it makes for a less accurate gun if the stock and the barrel have play between the two ,unless you hold the barrel with two hands and take the stock completely out of the equation. Who could honestly figure how much less accurate it would be but i know i would not want a stock and barrel that have play between the two.

    Leopold 1200 , I mark different shooting lanes ahead of time with colored duct tape around a tree or branch the same color that corresponds with that yardage pin.

    That opens a whole new argument ,deer can't possibly be spooked by every single strange smell they come across , if they smell a fireball and you manage to get busted by them ,then you just may have made that deer correlate the smell of a fireball to danger.

    Its the only product i have ever thought it was actually working ,either that or the same time i started using it i paid more attention to the wind . I'm very weary of scents these days ever since the firecracker incident with the antler ice..

    I can't recall what brand of blind i bought , it is way worse than that ,all the seams show light through and many pin holes throughout.

    I'm not starving currently ,anything more then a light rain and i'll call it quits . We tracked a deer in the rain at night before , sure it stinks but its part of the game.

    I always use the barrel foam ,spray it in and let it sit til it isn't foam any more and start pushing patches til it's clean, then I finish with the CVA presoaked barrel conditioner patches . Forgot to add that I run a plastic bristle brush through a couple times between the foam and patches.

    I enjoy watching fox do there thing,the ground pounce is fun to watch as well how incredibly nimble they are.

    Not sure where you are in Erie County but the niagara sportsman's association is a wonderful club, they have a 300 yard range for when you really want to test your skills.

    Every year it seems I try to make my sled less economic,louder and faster.

    I have a lot of hours spent making molds for almost every quaker boy call you see on the shelves , as well some really cool R+D stuff they never went through with.

    I got nothing ,my little guy is too young to even know what game is .

    I miss building injection molds , now i'm a die maker for the auto industry , talk about completely different worlds of tolerances.
