Sorry guys, it started out as just a fun thread about a kick ass song/group while reminiscing about the great times I had with my buddy Jim when we were young and having some good times. It spiraled down for me after listening to the a few of them and posting them here. If you'll indulge me in just one more.......this will be the last for tonight. (Thanks for the well wished too) Crank it UP!!
-
Excellent as usual......How many hours do you think you have into that, Matt? Also, is it a CAD program?
-
Not sure what my deal is tonight. The Dish is shut off, I'm picking the music from Youtube and spinning them here for my listening pleasure. Feels good too. I'm kind of in a funk.....a very good 40+ year buddy is in a battle with some throat cancer. Hunting buddy/drinking buddy/hell raising buddy. You guys get it.......... One of buddy Jim's old favorites from back in the day, it's kind of long but worth the ride.. If you have a drink in your hand, tip it will you? Thanks...

Here you go.....

This one was probably produced by Harvey Weinstein.................

I was just listening to Dish Sirius XM Classic Rewind while digesting my dinner. This song comes on........... Memories of my early 20's. Ahhhhhhhhh sweet!! Good tune/GREAT band

Yea, I saw al-e-oops too, damn! Maybe Bob & John’s down the street. They have good subs, pizza is fair. LaNova: never had a sub there, wings are fair and pizza is very good but they are very proud of it.
-
I don’t know WTH is for dinner. Could be your standard issue chicken finger sub as I AIN’T in the cooking mood.

Happy Birthday!!

It was already dug by the time I was born in 1961.............

How about that.......

They're ya go....Bowhunter's DISCOUNT Warehouse IIRC..........from somewhere in PA, right? I bought from them too but I think that was the late 80's?
-
Easy there kid.........some of us are running the DVR and don't need hints. 8 minute to catch up but now I have to hit "pause" as the turkey breast is ready to be carved.

I don't know Dan, Herter's is really the only thing I remember prior to Cabela's. That memory goes back to the late 60's......A friend of my mom & dad's owned a screw company here in Buffalo, Curtis Screw Co. and they had a catalog at his house and I remember thumbing through it as a very young boy/child/buck hunter (!!) at a dinner at their house. Herter's it had to be.............................. :;
-
A Cabela's catalog was something to get excited about? Boy it's been a long time since THAT has happened for me. I just "fanned" through the latest catalog to make it to our coffee table, the "Spring" edition. WTF is a "Spring" edition? Just a bunch of crap from A-Z that doesn't light my wick...... I guess its just a combination of me getting older and the electronic age. I'm OK with it, it's just a memory anymore (and a good one at that) how years ago you'd dream of going to a Cabela's store. Now all I have to do is jump in my VW Bug (I'm freakin' kidding!) and drive a half dozen miles and walk into a Cabela's store. Not Kearny, not Sidney; but CheektaVegas has a CABELA'S!! Heck, I can have dinner at Mighty Taco then walk next door and shop for more "stuff" I don't need. OK, rant over.

He travels this way occasionally.........the $75 would sure help pay tolls and fuel cost.

Niagara County Pistol Permit People......
Lawdwaz replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Hence the location and title of this thread. Its not about schools, taxes, police, bridges, parks, ski areas etc. Just pistol permits. -
Railroad tracks?

Niagara County Pistol Permit People......
Lawdwaz replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
In Erie Counties defense, I'm thinking they are severely understaffed and the fees associated with the pistol permit process aren't paying their way. WAY more permit holders and applicants in EC.......... -
ROCK!! I went with a co-worker to the NCPP department the other day for moral (believe it or not) support. The ONLY thing those people have in common with Erie County PP department is a security scan, that's it! My buddy would have been crucified in Erie County.......he moved to Erie County 20 years ago and didn't change his address. He also sold two handguns to a local dealer 16 years ago and didn't have them taken off his permit. After the lady in the PP office regained consciousness from discovering those two facts, she listened to his tale of woe about his ugly divorce 20 years ago and promptly cleaned up all the trouble. I think when she saw the crumbled, washed/dried 36 year old paper permit she felt pity on him. In Erie County, he'd be behind bars right now......... You guys NOT in Erie County should bring flowers/chocolate to those PP workers.
