  1. Ibuprofen is your friend! Prayers sent.........
  2. Screw the wind though. That just makes it too dangerous as far as driving goes. Good luck and keep your Kodak handy!
  3. Better stock up on milk, bread, beer & ammo. Last Saturday here at the other end of the state...........
  4. I would think their wholesale business (gun stores not gun clubs) is MUCH bigger than their retail? What are they selling to gun clubs, clay birds and ammo?
  5. So did they make the announcement today? I need to plug the addy into my GPS ASAP, PDQ not my PDA, LOL!
  6. All great except what happens if/when PA adopts some crazzzzzy assssed laws like here? Can't happen, right.............
  7. Very interesting, a motion detector for yotes? Thank goodness for the snow 'cause without that you'll be SOL unless you have some superb glass on your stick.
  8. I bet Pygmy will be happy............ I'll just leave it at that!! (I also heard something a couple weeks ago..)
  9. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I read the entire thread, see that I never had a comment on it and am ready to spew out a real volume of great retorts and the thread is LOCKED? Darn the luck...............
  10. Hey Joe, I think they are all being shy. You agree? (I hope the dues thing didn't spook 'em off)
  11. Welcome to all the new members. Seems like a bunch of new folks lately. Almost seems like September 1st............ What has spurred this on: Cabin fever? Gun control issues? Another reason? Anyway, tells us about you and what you hope to get out of your membership dues. <grin>
  12. Well that statement IS worthless without pics, Jr. Lets see the joint!
  13. Skunks pulling the pin around a house can obviously be brutal. My yellow lab got blasted in the front yard 20 years ago and it was horrific! Fortunately I'm in the cleaning business and had an ozone machine working on the interior right away. The dog was another matter........ I cleaned all the carpets & furniture the next morning and within a few days all was pretty good. I've had the little bastids on my front lawn at 3am digging grubs or whatever they eat and had the .22 out the window and chickened out. ILLEGAL as can be in my neighborhood! One of my better decisions in life....... Good luck with the little trouble maker Dan. I know they can be trapped easy enough (!!) with a short squatly live trap so they can't lift their tail and spray. I hate 'em!!
  14. You can say that about anything. What is too much for a snowmobile to you?
  15. I don't recall that name but are you referring to a news reporter he was caught with? Something about a stairwell............
  16. 'Bout damned time. Lake effect snow always amazes me. The way the band moves like an arm, slowly up then slowly down. Sometimes it stalls over a very narrow area and dumps a TON of snow. We had one blast probably 13-14 years ago that stopped right over us and left 3.5-4.5 feet of snow in a very band. You could go north or south 2 miles each way and it was zip, nothing nada. Meanwhile people were stranded in their rigs and it was a bad scene. It came on opening day of deer season and I thought my wife was joking when I called her that night after getting back to camp after a long day in the stand and nothing but memories to show for it! We had a sporty ride back home the next day. As we got closer to home it was like riding the Rubicon Trail!! Well here it is, FINALLY! It has slowed down now so I snapped a quick one......... The band has traveled north to Tonawanda, North Tonawanda, Clarence, Pendelton etc. It'll probably be shifting back our way later this afternoon. I know this little dumping pales in comparison to many of your locales but until I see a picture, I won't believe it. <Hint>
  17. Make sure you check Craigslist in surrounding areas near you. Lots of great deals abound on used bows. What are you looking to spend?
  18. I've heard of them. The are one of the suppliers for the Buffalo Gun Center, one of the biggest gun stores in NYS. I mentioned the Powder Valley people because the OP didn't specify that he was looking for a strictly local deal. Any port in the storm these days.
