    Well song of a gun he came back thru awhile later. I passed the first opportunity at close to 50yrds, then he wandered around for a bit then finally committed to my direction. He got about 40 out then viered left and made it to an opening and I gave a few wistles and he didn't even stop and off he walked. BTW I was using a xbow tonight

    Damn, had a dandy 8pt ripping up a scrape, gave him a couple grunts then a long one and he starts coming, only to get distracted by the doe further off in the field

    How's the rutting activity been for you all week? I ask u since we're somewhat close. This am was the first real chasing I've seen hunting or driving around but I didn't hunt all week.

    Well big bucks continue to elude me. I didn't see a deer this am although I couldn't hunt past 8:30 as my FIL came over to change an exterior door. Bro shot a doe with his xbow this am.

    Wow was it windy tonight, a few times I swore out loud with some of the gusts, darn tree was swaying bad.

    Have 2 live decoys here, my sons in his own stand off to my right. Saw one lone buck make his wasy across neighbors field. It's back yard hunting tonight

    Lame day of hunting. For Nov 3rd I was hoping for more action. The weather tells me it's early Nov and the deer are acting like it's Aug.
