More laws by Cuomo
Five Seasons replied to sbuff's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
exactly. it's not any different than what bush and trump have done. doing what they said they would and the group that didn't vote for him doesn't like it. I do think some of the abortion stuff is a little much though. Not sure that much of his base support that. -

ANDY'S NEW ABORTION LAW
Five Seasons replied to CapDistPatriot's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
@8:52 is just murder. It's straight up illegal and unconstitutional. I can't believe a governor said this. -
the uncertainty of gun regulations make it very hard to predict. It's really no different than trying to predict stocks in a way. However, A new Ruger American can be had for around $400. My guess is in 5 years you can still get 250+ for it. So maybe it's not an investment, but it holds its value. There aren't many other things in your house (especially electronics) that hold their value like that. Now if you need the money or space now, by all means it's fine to sell. But I would also say that holding onto guns you don't use isn't the worst thing either. I want one so bad you have no idea. But it's a nice to have. Right now I need a new bow, kitchen floors, a shed, pool fence etc. lol. it's not a great investment no. It's like the guy who held onto his car from the 70's. It stayed in his garage taking up space and his wife nagged at him for 40 years and now it's finally worth something. So was it worth it? lol.

We did have a ton of fun. Thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

i was leaning more towards the regulations required to acquire guns. The depreciation isn't nearly as great either.

yes, but you don't refer to Americans from Georgia as speaking Georgian. There is a dialect, not a language. Just like we speak English, not American. Are you tracking yet?

so the bigfoot guy agrees with the cyborg human guy. got it.

The accident they talk in Mexico? dude. You need to see a doctor.

ANDY'S NEW ABORTION LAW

you brought up stabbing babies with scissors bro, not me. I'm guess your wife never went to the hospital after that delivery? Didn't receive any care, meds or treatment and never stayed the night correct? -
Nobody speaks Mexican. You continue to dig yourself deeper.

i'm not an expert, but even with the electric start, it could still be a bad plug. I believe most plugs have temp ratings and when things get this cold any amount of age or fouling might finally be enough. Some plugs are easy to pull and check. Should be pretty obvious if it's fouled up. Could also be a fuel line issue. Make sure all the hoses look good and if there's a filter that it isn't clogged. And of course, that there is gas in it haha. -
grampy actually make s real good point. Guns generally appreciate in value and in 2019 who the heck knows what they could be worth someday if we continue down the path we're on. I met a guy in MS that has several class 3 firearms. They've all appreciated since he bought them and told me that he looks at them more as investments than guns (although it's fun as hell to squeeze off his uzi on full auto). Anyhow, his point is that his kid will inherit them and can sell or keep them. Or if shtf he can defend himself. So holding onto a firearm isn't the worst idea either.

can someone translate this for me?

the same generation that is pissed they had to learn cursive is pissed that kids don't write letters or mail anything anymore. It's kind of funny when you think about it. My father in law still goes to the bank every saturday to pay bills and writes and mails out checks. Yes, there is a level of security risk with online bill pay, but it's instant and confirmed paper trail. Never lost, always guaranteed and doesn't require a trip to the post office or a stamp and check.

I still don't understand your point, and I'm not even get into the socioeconomic and footprint of paper. You wouldn't change your mind even after I cited 100 papers proving you wrong.

it's cold haha. The best feature on my craftsman is the electric start. I've rarely needed it except the first start of the season or when I had the pull rope break but it's clutch. just plug an extension cord in and press the button. I realize this doesn't help you at all. but things I would check are: flooded it, didn't prime enough, plug is gummed up just enough that the cold was the last straw in preventing the spark. very cold air is a lot more dense and could be throwing off your oxygen ratio. check your intake area/filter to make sure it's getting air. -
anti-crossbow guy here and I support the age inclusion. dwindling hunter numbers is not a good reason though and easily countered by an increased deer take this year.

any of that "tracking tech" which can also save your life fwiw, can be disabled with a simple unplugging of the wire harness. applications and w2's online are so much easier on the employee and more environmentally friendly. If you haven't learned how to use a computer in 2019, then they really don't want you anyhow. Not sure what your beef is here. What's wrong with drones?

all my long guns serve a purpose and none overlap, so I'm behind your decision. The only reason I might have additional guns is for sentimental reasons. my bird gun has 2 barrels and it would be nice if I had a dedicated turkey and dedicated waterfowl/field gun though because the turkey gun has optics on it that need to be "verified" once I switch barrels back. There are also a few long guns I'd like but would probably never actually buy like the m1 garand. Pistols are a bit of different story for me, however each of them that i have are very different. I don't really have any similar guns ie a full size glock/M&P/baretta etc.

nope i do it. makes the job that much easier. My 26" craftsman does a decent job, but not so good with 2' of snow or the heavy stuff. I got her out last sunday morning knowing i wasn't done. But it made monday morning a lot easier. -
ANDY'S NEW ABORTION LAW
Five Seasons replied to CapDistPatriot's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
to take stormy daniels argument, the man had equal responsibility not to get her pregnant as well right? Again, I'm trying to not weigh in on the details here. I will admit that some of the vagueness of the law has me concerned as well. But I do agree that if the baby is causing harm to the mother, they should have the choice to do something about it, not the husband. On the other side of that, I don't see a bunch of woman running out and getting abortions at 8 months like the fear mongers believe. And I agree with the gun rights analogy. Those that were already abusing their bodies were likely to do it, whether it was legal or not. You do see why the opinion of someone without kids or a wife is problematic right?
