I think the whole jail system is interesting. You get guaranteed food, shelter and medical (even if they are bare minimum). Yet private citizens don't receive these things to some degree. Of course inmates deserve some form of basic human rights, we're not animals. And of course what price do we place on freedom? I'd rather starve then be locked up. Don't think they should get free surgeries that aren't life critical though. I'm not sure how widespread this will be either. x a million

I would admit to not knowing all the details here. I would guess some cheaper hormone medicines are covered and surgeries are not under medicare and medicade. Not much different from those government insurances covering insulin shots but not an insulin pump. I don't see a cheap hormone treatment as an issue.

So much ignorance. I'm not sure I'd recommend someone like you do research on the subject as we may find you curled up in a fetal position in the corner. But to be clear, many are born one gender and through drug treatment and surgery can "lift their dress" and you would not see their original birth genitals. However, I'll restate that for medical and sports reasons I believe they should be required to mark down their "birth gender" for which there are only 2. Obviously your doctor should know of your surgeries as well. For everything else I couldn't care less.

This will be my last post on the subject. I read 2 links on the topic and neither mention what you claim. In fact, the only statement on dress code was about how he discriminated against females (a point I've brought up 3 times now that you haven't acknowledged). I've quoted and posted evidence to support my stance. You keep making statements without supporting them with facts. You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts

You didn't read your own link man. You're just wrong here, it's not an opinion. He/she worked in embalming and body prep, not a customer facing role. The owner was a bigot who was also sued by his female employees (are you ok with sexual discrimination too)? And even if he/she was in a customer facing role, the owner can enforce a dress code. You're painting this picture of some hairy man in a cocktail dress and that's not the case here. For reference I have a large staff of over 70 direct reports across the globe and I don't give a flying flock what they look like. Heck during covid I've never even seen some of the new hires faces. And does that bother me? No, because it doesn't matter what someone looks like to me. I hire and promote based on actions. And everyone deserves a fair shot in life.

that's a good point about small game. Sure nothing would stop me from going after squirrels like I normally do during the holiday break, but I have neighbors that hunt and they don't mind me hunting their land in the off season. So I get some real nice long hikes and scouts in that I most likely wont have the ability to do now...

I said this last time, and I'll say it again. My ass will probably be in the woods even though I have a choice not to be. And honestly the season is so long and I'm so burnt by then that I wish they took the option out of my hands.

I generally don't care what someone wants to identify as, how they dress or what they do in their own home or in public for that matter. But when it comes to medical records or sports (where one gender has an advantage over the other) there should be only 2 options. I also don't think any of this affects any of you in any way.
