    opening day passed on a busted up 8 or so then in the afternoon took a shot 220 yards no rest and missed a one antler monster at least 300 pounds when he ran back to the gully one of the grand kids shot as i walked up to what i assumed would be the deer i missed i was shocked to se a one antler monster but not the same one this one had bases over 6 inches a double and a tripple brow dressed 193 i was so happy for him like he was my own son and to wach his father there with him was priceless

    they shot 60 some thing last time there is not enough land there to legaly shoot you can not get 500 feet from the homes and the school and they hire an out of state company and they take the meat back i drive by there every day there are no where as many deer as there were before the last kill but vassar has a lot of money for those that dont know the town of poughkeepsie redid the whole section of raymond ave for them at tax payers expense mad it real pretty for them

    DID GOOD I WORKED UNTILL 11 HIT THE FIELD TOOK A LONG NAP AGAINST A TREE IN THE SUN WOKE UP WACHED THE SUN SET ON ANOTHER SEASON SAW A DEER RUNNING BY MY TRUCK ON MY WAY OUT LAUGHED AND CALLED IT A SEASON BOY I NEEDED THAT NAP

    its not just at the end of the season i use to hunt gardner during bow season the guy next door would shoot them from his window with a rifle during bow season usualy before light the dec office is 10 minutes away after a while you just get tired of reporting it

    missed a giant one antlered at least 300 pounds farther than i have ever shot a gun before then i shot a nice 8 with my hand gun found hair no blood rained all night looked all morning nothing
