The land I hunt has a particular stand that seems to take multiple deer every year. We have taken 3 deer in one day all at different times. All does but still effective.

Talk baout a deer of a lifetime!!!

I gave up fletching with the glure and tape and went to Shrink fletches. I llove them. More expensive but alot faster and easier.

Thanks for the video. I never thought of looking on youtube for it. It looks like it might be a little work but I can use it on multiple stands.

I've been hunting with a harness for sometime now and don't feel safe without it. My only complaint is how it restricts my shot in some directions. Has anyone ever tried the HSS 360 extension? Is it portable so I can move it from stand to stand?

My buddies Father-in law Fell out of his tree stand from about 20ft in the air. He's been in ICU for about 2 weeks now. He broke all the ribs in his back, broke his pelvis in 3 places, Boke his collarbone in 2 places and cut his liver. He feel asleep and feel forward.

I couldnt claim a deer that I didn't make the initial shot on. The best part of hunting to me is having the story to tell about the shot and the adreniline rush I get doing it. That goes for a nice size buck or even a doe. I always feel proud of myself when I walk up on that deer on the ground. Just wouldn't be the same taking one that was already weakend. It's like having someone tie one to a tree and telling me to shoot it.

Great deer. I's that an Adirondak deer? The only reason I ask is I just read an article in New York Outdoor News and they were talking about how up North they don't measure deer by size of rack as much as they do as by the weight of the deer. Either way thats a monster!!!

I dont think you understood my question. Congrats on your buck. I am not judging what anyone shoots or doesent shoot. Or suggesting anyone think like me. Nor am I holding myself up as an example for anyone. A far as other properties not practicing QDM. No one by my lease practices QDM either. And I killed a large deer and one of my partners saw one larger. I just know that most of my bow seasons were over the first week and I wouldnt have killed him because my tag would be filled. And so far this season what keeps me going is that I know for sure at least 4 bucks that frequent this lease made it through the season last year. (dont know if they made it throught the winter though). I am asking for those who do pass shots how they react when they get skunked. That's all. Fasteddie seems to understand what I am asking. Sorry your right I did miss understand it. I like to fill my tag. If it means taking a smaller buck I will. Bleitten04 said it right. If it was my property and could manage it correctly I would definetly wait for a nicer buck. Hopefully some day I will have that option.

My honest opinion is shoot whatever you like with in reason. I took a small 5 pt eairly this season and it put meat in the freezer. I have the tag and will fill it when possible. Passing really doesnt do any good becuse the surrounding properties don't practice so QDM.
