Get your vaseline ready NY! Its here...

Not going to happen...If he has not seen the big picture by now he never will. Yes CWD dead deer are being found in every woodlot and street corner of every CWD positive state...Sheesh! Just the fact that he does not understand the word..Possible.. and throwing up research from the year of 2000 shows he brings nothing to the table on the true facts of CWD! Still pushing for that big 50 i guess! -
Feeding is legal as long as its growing in the ground.

What will cause you to drop a dime on another hunter?
Four Season Whitetail's replied to Doc's topic in General Hunting
LOL...Yeah if its not your soul that goes first, I have seen a few retaliations in the past. Up in South Colton at our Barney Pond camp have seen camps burnt, Trucks trashed and one night at Hamm's Inn watched a local off duty ECO get just a total beat down by someone that i guess lost hunting time for a few years because of. If it has nothing to do with me and mine i will let it be. If someone crosses the line and brings me into the picture then its all fair game. Lets just hope your luck continues to run true... -
What will cause you to drop a dime on another hunter?

If its not on my property then i am not getting involved.. In today world there very well could come a time when you stick your nose in someone else's business you could very well regret that for life. I would have to ask Vinny...Does anyone you dropped a dime on know it was you that dropped it on them? -
LOL...Like one way is any different than another? Better cut all those apple trees down and wipe out the acorn drop. One is legal and one is not, and that will change anything when it comes to disease? I think not....
-
Yup even if it is against a stupid Ny law, I would leave it be and carry on with your own thing, Ny has some stupid laws on the books and this is one of them, Myself...Let it go. Im sure you will get the other side of the coin also with the..A law is a law reply and you should turn him in. He is hurting nothing and should be left alone. IMO

Sucks to get old. At 52 i am getting the hearing/sight crap myself. Just another thing to deal with i guess. Plus we get to get that..Sticker Shock..when all a sudden, Bang,That big buck is standing right in front of us..With no clue as to where it came from.

I guess you have a comprehension problem also! I responded to a post that brought my deer into the conversation.! And im pretty sure that it was said a number of times that there was controlled land long before you brought it up. SFOJ

My lord man, I thought you were digging on some of the posts you made above but i think you just beat them all with this post. I wont even blow this post up with so much proof and research because i could get you to your 50 pages you so badly want to see. Everybody knows what CWD is and is not and it sure as the day is long not a threat of any kind to do any harm to deer or elk herds in any state. Thats been 60 years proven. -
Cant make everyone happy and they look at it that way. It will be Ar..It will be OBR or it will be doe only all year long if thats what it takes for them to get the job done. Cant believe they really care what most hunters think. They are so understaffed they cant take care of whats on their plate now. Any rules that have to do with the need of more payroll will never be seen thats for sure!

Yeah i myself would let him grow but would not stop one of the younger or older guys have at him on our property. I know the rest of the ones that hunt here would pass him. He would make a great first couple...or last couple bucks for some that hunt here.
-
Well then i guess its a good thing this buck is not behind wire because shooting high fence deer is not even close to what this thread is about. Those that do have big chunks of controlled land see this size buck and pass every year. Thats how they grow to be real nice. I guess you are not one of them so by all means...Blast away!

LOL...Yeah i dont see 2.5 myself but he is not sagging in the belly much either. Just an FYI...Most 11/2 year old babies in 4 season's pens have that dude beat by a bunch. lol

CWD has killed nothing anywhere...But to put point to your post..Our farm deer that get killed or culled go to the local zoo here and they are in need of higher numbers for the meat eaters! -
Yeah..When you manage your property for great deer some choices have to be made on what is killed and what is not. He would be an awesome buck for a young or older hunter that most likely has never taken one of that size(Doc) or who's days are numbered by choice or not.(Doc) So on our 800 acres that would be a total of 4 people who may shoot that buck. For the rest of us..Nope he would not make the cut. Gotta let em grow if you want to see and harvest the best the animal/Land has to offer!
-
We mostly let the good bucks walk so we can shoot the great ones. He would look good over one of the young guys mantels and fill a void for one of the older fellas but for the middle group that guy would be one of the smaller ones hanging over the mantels, Thats the great thing about having choices. Went down to the park last week..13 bucks standing in a field of about 30 deer, 2 awesome 10 points in the field 1/2 hour before dark.120 range 10 minutes before dark all their heads come out of the alfalfa and look into the woods..A brute steps out all of 140 plus. Split brows and G2's with stickers. A view like that is what makes one let a 120 walk. Not everyone can do that..But have the choice to.

Me too but if he is 3-4 years old he is probably not going to do much more. Cant say i would burn the tag on him if he was here but would give the green light for one of the other guys.

First hard horn of the year...
Four Season Whitetail's replied to WNY Bowhunter's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
A wonderful buck... So this is a good guy to kinda do a survey on. Would you burn your tag on this buck the first day of the season and end your year? Myself, This deer would get a pass this year. Anyone else have thoughts? -
To bad you were not closer....Freakin field rats are in every fresh cut hayfield we cut. Way to many local birds at times. What is the limit now? Like 30 or something a day?
-
If anybody needed some bigger antlers for different projects i could help them out. No charge. Just make me one along with the rest!

Black kid kills white cop and you hear about it a day or two- White cop kills black kid and its all out warfare burning cars and riot's in the streets. Go Figure.

Even early muzzle wont be fun if all i can do is blast flat heads! Wont waste the time or money on that tag. -

Why dont you tell us how a really feel. Maybe just cut back on the language a bit. I can remember a time when i got my hand slapped for less on this site. lol -
I would say buck myself. If it was a bear and you follow the scratch that starts the mark coming down there is only 1 scratch. Meaning if he say stretched out and put his paw on the tree to pull down then he only used 1 claw coming down. 1 out of 5? Kinda weird i would say.

Must have been a trophy, I just know you say there are no trophies in that area in hunting season so i was kinda wondering if they were there in the summer. Guess they are.
