    Ny is an awesome place to live when you have money and time. Can afford to do pretty much whatever and cover the states stupidity. Time let's you enjoy the seasons, say to enjoy all of the long hunting season and being able to choose what days of winter you care to go out and enjoy.     A buck does not really know what it has for headgear and his actions are determined more by his demeanor as much as his age. Bigger,older deer know when to hold em per say. They know when she is ready and will not expend needed energy chasing a doe that just smells good. And as we all know every animal is different but when they hit 3 years and up in a state with woodlots set up like ours they really do turn into a totally different beast.     Not on the state land I hunt. By the looks of the DEC complaint about license sales being down in about every category I think you will finally see Xbow included in archery instead of the ridiculous setup they have now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Why would One care? In some circles that buck is not a shooter regardless. The statement that 3 bucks being related in an area is a big time stretch and to say some may be related because of how thick meat may be around the ribs is foolish at best.     The stuff is not a magic potion for sure but you also have to keep your scent out of the equation. The best scent won't entice a buck to overlook Human scent and danger. I had great reaction from VS1 and Dominant Buck scents this fall. Every situation is different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Well we all have to grow along with the sport and 99.9% of the hunters will mature enough to let the babies walk. Now this poster and it seems his friends I guess are in the other %.     I did the same on a nice big buck last couple days of crossbow. Went a long time before dropping. The bigger ones always give the best drama, Good Luck with him.
