    Well we will never keep the Non-Hunters happy per say and they are the ones that will run with the fair chase card. I think the new gadgets and rifles that shoot a mile may one day push some buttons but the South is happy with running dogs and the North with deer drives so i am not sure it will ever be put in one pot and described fair or not.

    I believe you can carry during early bow bear season. I am also not real worried about ever getting frisked to see if I have a pistol while doing any kind of hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Wrong answer for some seasons. Another stupid Ny law that goes by the wayside for many hunters. I can carry for bow bear but not bow deer? Is a bear not going to attack if it's deer season if it's so inclined? Will always have something regardless of season. I would like to see their answer if some unlucky sap did get ate up by a bear during bow deer season. I know who that sap won't be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Nope. They could care less. But I do and until they start paying my taxes for the Vermin damage to my property they will be disposed of at every opportunity. They most likely could care less about someone wiping out the Vermin either unless there is a ticket opportunity available at the time and they are stretched so thin most, In this area anyways, are worried about seeing to many tickets written.     Ny was not the only state I was speaking of. Why do they throw out bales of alfalfa in Saskatchewan ? Corn on the roads in Texas. Bear piles in about every state? Don't see any issues in any of those states that Ny has not seen? Why can you bait a furbearer and not a whitetail? It's the same reason some have no problem shooting a pig behind fence but scream holly hell over a whitetail getting blasted behind the same fence? The same word fits those people.     Whatever...Funny all the other states that allow baiting have no issues and they all have bigger deer than Ny. Funny how baiting is fine for some animals but not for others. I think there is a word for that.

    . We have them in every field this year. 4 have been taken so far this fall. Pistol goes for a walk anytime I am in the woods. How stupid to have a law that says you can carry during bear but not deer season. Like the best cares what season is open. Rather take a chance on a ticket then a pissed of bruin I guess.     Yeah new map shows it all closed. All the pines on top of Hogsback back to river and all the way to Silver Creek. Why it's not open to bow at least is beyond me but then again it's the park we are talking about here. I came back last week and none of it has been signed Safe Zone so who knows but the map they are handing out shows it all closed. That's a crazy amount of acreage as you know.     Still pretty thick. Have some nice boys on the cam's though. They closed the area between the Hogsback down to Silver Creek and made it Safety zone. Crazy amount of land now closed off. But on a great note it will make our farm an even hotter spot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
