What I think they mean about Promiscuous shooting is chicks in bikinis shooting firearms on state land. Actually I would really like to know the definition of what Promiscuous shooting really is. I did in fact call the DEC many years ago and no one could really give me an actual definition however one officer took the phone and said as long as you keep it low key and don't go shooting off 30 round mags with an AK your fine. I did ask him about sighting in a rifle on a trail and he said no problem to that...

Take them straps and marinate in soy sauce and olive erl, then wrap them in bacon and grill em medium rare n slice em up. Them hearts on the other hand should be cubed small bout 1/2 inch and simmered in college inn beef stock for 3 hours then add a can of tuttorosso tomatoe sauce and some garlic, alittle red wine and alittle basil, one teaspoon of sugar, salt and pepper and simmer for another 1/2 hour. pour that over some macaroni or rice and your good to go........................

I can see your point but down here in the Hudson Valley we are so close to bordering states it just a convenience for some hunters to stop during the week and get things for that P.A. weekend hunt. I even bought my illegal crossbow at Gander Mountain here in NY..

Ya know Doc, I find myself always looking at oncoming traffic way up ahead nowadays to see what oncoming drivers actions are. You can always tell a cell phone user when that vehicle is making corrections and steering back into his lane every couple hundred feet. I witnessed some guy pull over on a tight state road to answer his cell recently putting himself and others in danger thinking he was doing the right thing by pulling over to answer his phone. There he stood 1/2 assed in his lane on a 55 mile per hour 2 lane road with people missing his mirror by inches?

Sorry to hear that, my Grandfather died of an infection he received in a hospital at about the same age and my Grandmother carried on for about another 30 years, wearing mostly black of course...

Being really heavy/morbidly obese will certainly take its effect on your life span, but neither one of those chaps in the original post fit that bill, they looked like a couple of 230 pounders who could actually be in pretty good shape. In this day and age even people who are predisposed to certain life shortening diseases are living long healthy lives thanks to modern medicine and medical procedures. And just because yer Grandpappy is 85 and plays 6 rounds of golf everyday means nothing. There's plenty of 50 year olds dying of cancer who's Grandpappy's attend their funerals. Its called life and doesn't come with any guarantee's folks...

Look for posts made by NYshooter, he's a lawyer who is keeping the gun owners of NY well informed on whats happening. There is hope and the cases filed against the state look very good.
