when did the men in this country turn into this big group of scaredy cats, ohhhh watch out for this , ohhh watch out for that, it can hurt you little wimps? my god, my own mother didnt worry abour half the crap you guy's are sooo scared about when i was 4 years old? if you go thru life being soo afraid of every damn thing around the next turn how the hell do you exist? do you guy's even have the nuts to get behind the wheel of a car, forget hopping on a motorcyle. we have grown into this society of be scared, be carefull, dont let your kids do that, that can cause cancer, you'll catch cold, have tubes shoved up yer butts, dont forget yer safety harness little toads. man we are scared of everything! ahh heck im headin to my tree stand now with a thermos of expresso and no safety harness, i'll have the jitters so bad by 9 oclock i might just have to have a swigg of wine to keep me from fallin out of my ladder stand!

you do it the way you like and we do it the way we like, thats the beauty of living here in the USA. you wanna live in a country thats totally against drinking and forbids their people to do so move to Saudi Arabia.

i cant wait to hunt on my own property right here in NY with a Crossbow!!!

just be glad you live in a state where if you wanna drink some it's OK, or if your against drinking it's OK too. there are still places in this country where you have bible thumpin nuts swearin it's the devils seed and counties all over the south where you cant even by an alcoholic beverage. we have good friends that are a retired airforce couple from Ohio who settled in Galax Virginia. once the locals found they like to have a drink every now and then, and that they drove out of county to get booze, these people basically shunned them?? they had enough of that in less than 2 years, sold and moved up to PA.

hunting shows are not what they used to be and i really can't watch em anymore. i do spend some time on Archery Talk and you have to hear the way these yahoos idolize these phonies and talk about the latest Mike Waddell kill or wow you gotta see what Lee or Tiffiny just shot?? gotta be the same people that watch pro wrestling.

i'm from an old Italian hunting family, we have hunted for decades, im talking from the ole boot right to upstate NY, and we almost always meet up in the mountains for lunch, which includes suprasada, provolone, red roasted peppers and yes a little wine. no one has ever shot anyone or for that matter ever missed a deer because they were drunk. may be hard to believe but not everyone turns into a total jackass after a drink, yes there are alot of responsible drinkers out there. if you are doubtfull of how you will react after having a drink or cant stop after one then you are far better off not drinking because you more than likely a jackass drunk or sober.

if its warm its warm, hopefully it changes soon and we get some decent fall bowhunting weather. been doing warm oct bowhunting for some time in NY now..cool crisp oct mornings dont come till the end of nov now??

i know of atleast a couple other guys that use the frontloaders all season right to the middle of December. also give you the chance to get out for that late season i love when there is snow on the ground and most other hunters are x-mas shopping with the wives....nice quiet time in the woods and deer are settling back down..

isnt the tarp material noisey in a breeze, and when you can buy a pop up for 100 smackers is it cost effective? well atleast the money isnt going to China, ohh wait a minute they make the tarps and rebarb too.
