i think we should make every effort to help out older guy's in the woods, especially deer season, alot of older guy's drop out because they can't find someone to help em drag a deer out of the woods. i would stop what i'm doing in a minute to help an old timer get one out of the woods, and have offered several older hunters my cell number for that reason...hell i'm not too far from that stage in life myself.

is the early youth turkey hunting weekend going to be April 23rd and 24th this year?

I believe that the DEC wants to legalize crossbows so they can make money from them. It pisses me off that they would sell out bowhunters for a few pieces of silver. But its all about the Benjamins, in the end. If they were smart, they would give crossbows their own season. It would maximize revenue, and end the controversy. well flinger, i see your missing the point again (story of your life)..it is all about the silver because the thing that will save hunting in NY from continuing attacks from anti hunting lobbyists/groups who are very well funded is exactly that, "SILVER" Benjamins or what ever you fruit cakes wanna call it...yea having a well financed hunting population and DEC is exactly what we need here in NY. but your skull is alittle to thick to understand anything like that, just like your bud, fast eddie...

Nothing. You get to this year....during gun season. Have a good time. quite the contradition for a guy who boasts of the challenges of hunting with a compound bow??? i wont be hunting with a crossbow during gun season the same way you wouldnt waste your time hunting with your compound during gun season....But me and about 100 thousand other guys just like me will be killing "YOUR" deer during "YOUR" bow season with crossbows soon enough. oh just wondering what are your plans when full inclusion finally happens in NY, will you just be giving up the sport or you just gonna put a gun in yer mouth? ??? ??
