Perhaps it's Waco. I mean the place seems to have a higher degree of violent and strange incidents.

I know many here would never think of visiting such a loathsome place as NYC for a vacation. But for those of you who want to visit our great city and enjoy some of our wonderful sights I am posting a video that will help you when you come (it may have been posted before). From people watching to our museums and everything in between NYC can be a tremendously entertaining place. All NYC citizens (C.H.U.D.'s) welcome you! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8LmPBPWHJu4"frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ln97oo1PQN8"frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Have Fun! You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

NY's Future Under A Fracking Ban
EspressoBuzz replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Hmmm Texas based company, same state where the governor just passed a ban on fracking bans. The next tear to your eye will be when you hear how little they will be fined for this spill, It will not cover the cost of clean up and no one will go to jail. YAY LESS REGULATIONS!!!! -

The Economic Cost Of Govt Regulation
EspressoBuzz replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
So then what your saying Mr VJP is we should trust you to determine what regulations are good and bad? What if like the NYS fracking ban the people want it regardless of the economic drag it may or may not cause? Is this not democracy? Is this not what our government suppose to work? In none of your posts in multiple threads have you offered an viable alternative to "our government", regulations or any other threat we as a nation face. It occurs to me you are part of the problem and not one who even wants a solution. I have traveled to Europe and South America often and sometimes I get asked why our country does some things which are clearly counter productive. I often ask myself the same question. My answer is to stand up (or Sit up) straight and say "Our system is not a perfect system but it is the best system in the world today". You sir want a perfect (in your mind) system or NO system because you offer nothing but criticism and no serious alternative. -

VJP using a typo to disregard news. Lying to prove your point. and of course your application of our bill of rights where you please how you please. I too am wary but to say "violence these days" is stupid and ignorant of history or just ignoring history. When you speak you sound an a lot like the people who spoke against Jews in Europe prior to WW2. You spew "facts" and never qualify them. I understand that the core of our judicial system is innocent until proven guilty, something you seem to have forgotten. We all need to be cautious, cautious of hate on all sides including your hate of government. -

I think that was democracy! Side note, Gov of Texas banned individual counties and towns from banning fracking. -

Ahhhhhh you VJP are a pro corporation anti government hack. YOU are the problem here and in the rest of the country. It is the VJP's of the world who not only don't believe government can help you actively subvert government while holding the corporation up as the solution. How anyone can say with a straight face that the "industry" self regulates fine. You cherry pick history to make you points, turn a blind eye towards abuses by your beloved industry and capitalism and when confronted with the truth retire to the tried and true it'll ruin our economy, oh what is plan B? and other BS arguments. You never once speak about how we need to take back our government from the corporations instead choosing to "drown it in the bathwater". I doubt you read anything that does not support your narrow view of our supposedly dystopian society or for that matter anything hopeful or uplifting. Adam Smith who I am sure you'll brand a communist wrote in the Wealth Of Nations that the concentration of money is a treat to useful and productive capitalism. This is the same situation we have today. Eisenhower warned us about the Military Industrial Complex the very same situation we are in today. I have no doubt that none of these posts you have ever made could change your mind as you hope to change other minds, and I don't believe you give a rat ass about the NYS economy. -

The Economic Cost Of Govt Regulation

Oh I know I know. But in an ideal situation they should work for everyone. That we let it get away from that is the shame of our American short attention span and apathy toward voting. Letting the companies you're suppose to regulate write the regulations is wrong and happens every day. I too hate "nanny state" regulation but the nature man dictates strong regulations on natural resource use since it has been proven that companies that exploit those resources will do so in the cheapest and most harmful way. Many here know that the agri-laws written favor big agri-companies but again nothing gets done about it. So do we trash all regulation? -

Funny I thought regulations were the rules of the road for free market capitalism. Too little regulation has been proven to kill us, too much hurts our wallet. Hmmmmmm -

Typical case of needing to regulate common sense actions. Other than stating you can't intentionally rig and bait to catch an out of season fish (sadly I have seen people do exactly the opposite) it simply states you need to get the fish back into the water ASAP to protect it's health. On a personal note I have seen with my own eyes, multiple times, a father rip a hook out of a fish, bit of internal organs attached, instead of cutting the line on a deeply hooked fish and throw the fish back in all the while saying to their kid "it'll be fine" You people at CAPTREE know who you are! It's tuff to enforce but I suspect that it's suppose to deter.

NY's Future Under A Fracking Ban
EspressoBuzz replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
VJP I can't do what you say because it's a snake eating it's own tail. You see my facts are propaganda your facts are facts, if i read your fact they will become propaganda and if you read my fact they will become facts. Think Catch 22 and you'll be right on track. But hey let me ask some questions: When do we err on the side of caution? When do we say NO to blind profit? Why are you giving the oil industry so much faith with the record they have? When will you wake up and smell the crap you're shoveling? -
NY's Future Under A Fracking Ban
EspressoBuzz replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Yeah It can't be proven that if your water catches fire it's caused by fracking, just because your house has been in the family for 100 years and it started catching fire only after your neighbor allowed fracking their is no proff I'm sure. Just like there is no proof that all the earthquakes in the midwest (an 800 % increase) are caused by fracking. I don't understand why the scientist paid by the oil company is more trustworthy than the scientist who isn't. I'm sure if i lived upstream of your drinking water you'd have something to say about me pissing into it. -
Where's VJP when you need him? It's a anit-mountain lion in NY conspiracy I tell you!!

Situation in Baltimore
EspressoBuzz replied to ELMER J. FUDD's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I'm sorry i must have missed the memo but when was it decided that a job at a fast food franchise isn't meant to raise a family on or live on? I wasn't aware of the law or constitutional amendment promising Americans cheap fast food. Fast food employees average 29 year old and restaurant and food service employees make up the largest sector of public assistance users. I say stop bitching and pony up a few more cents for your fast food. -
Apparently they do, I suppose it's how well welfare scum is marbled.
