That’s a good sign! I remember a few days after a particularly not great fielding game stopping at the field on the way home to hit a bucket of grounders since they weren’t happy. If he is self motivated (which it sounds like he is) he will do well. Just make certain he is “playing up” as much as possible- being a big fish in a small pond ain’t helpful in baseball. My honeymoon was in Galway. Every day started with a full Irish breakfast at the local pub including a Guinness or 2. I never neede to eat until 3:00pm after that breakfast. “Lunch” was always brown bread and soup and Guinness and dinner was pub sandwiches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Old timer from West Virginia taught me this “method” Potatoes and carrots on the bottom, onion and smoked sausage (my venison jalapeño cheddar)and corn to follow. 1 High Life to tie it all together Good pot over a good fire and just wait. Once you are a little tipsy (as you just must have beers while tending the fire), check the potatoes and carrots. I’m going to say those were not “flipped” but “covered.” This move will change your egg cooking lives...crack egg- gently pull off the extra white later around the yolk with a fork(egg snot as my kids call it) and then cover the pan.
