  1. Unusual for me, but trail cams had a lot of activity last night, so that's encouraging anyways. One definite shooter and another would probably be in danger at this point.
  2. I'm a sucker for high heels and maybe some lip stick.... Just throwing it out there!!!
  3. A wise band once said, “It’s not the kill, it’s the thrill of the chase.” On a side note, I will admit to fantasizing and imagining a bullseye on her heart though!!!!! LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just had 2 does go by. Nothing in tow… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. UGH…… Get after them Moog!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sounds like a good ole fashioned deer drive to me with all those pushers!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I'm in 8H also. Since daylight, I've gotten trail cam pics of does at 4 different cam locations. Thought it would be interesting to see if any bucks were trailing them. No bucks with them or trailing!! Had a doe and fawn walk past me this morning, no bucks following. Also saw 2 does and a fawn feeding in a field ~150 yards away in the wide open, no bucks in sight! No buck pics last night at all.... Just strange!!
  8. I thought John made the forum rules pretty clear as to his expectations of members of his site?
  9. So what’s the point of having forum rules, issuing warnings to someone that has a total disregard for the rules, and “banning” if offenders aren’t held responsible and booted for good? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Only had 2 single does on cams last night. I’m out of optimism for this season. Just going to grind out the rest of the season on pure stubbornness, so I have no regrets later. On a positive note, shortly after daylight, I saw a doe standing ~150 yards away in a neighbors field (no hunting there) and the big piebald buck was laying ~20 yards from her in the open field. When she headed to the thicket on the other side, he stood up and followed her. Cool to see! 20 min ago, I had a doe and fawn pass by at 5 yards. Hoping a nice buck will pick up their trail… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Beautiful bucks, but ugly ass chucabura!! Just need those bucks to make a mistake and get moving during the day!! I'm rooting for you!!
  12. Saw a big doe pacing up and down the neighbors field ~100 yards away. Wasn’t sure what was up. Then, 2 fawns came out of the thicket to meet her. They wandered off together. Assuming they might have been separated last night during some chasing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Go-go juice is brewing! Got a pic of a new nice buck last night. First new one to show up, so that's promising! Hope its the first of many! Still waiting to see a mature buck in daylight though.......
  14. Glad you brought this up! I'm in need of a new pair of boots. I haven't been happy enough with neither Muck or Lacrosse to want to buy another pair of those. I've never heard of Dryshod, but after looking into them a bit just now, they are at the top of my list!
  15. Was that a question or a prediction? Regardless, you nailed it!!
  16. Thinking about tapping out soon. Just a coyote, red fox and squirrels all morning! The farmer has been picking a corn field about 100 yards away for the past 2+ hours and I thought for sure he would run something over my way. Nothing!!! The field borders a cut soybean field and nothing has crossed that either, running out of the corn. I’m out of ideas as to the lack of deer and sightings this year. Think I’ll go ponder this over a couple slices of pizza….. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Just squirrels and another coyote here… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Having some coffee and trying to decide which stand to go to...
  19. Just witnessed something that goes against something that I’ve ever been told!! I saw a coyote with a red fox trotting about 5 yards behind it! Y was like they were buds!! When one stopped, the other did too! I have never seen this before! I always heard that coyotes kill red fox, because they compete for that same prey! And if you have a lot of coyotes, you won’t have any/many fox.? I’ve heard this many times!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Man is it warm! These little gnat bastards are pissing me off!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You and me both brother! Sounds like we're in the same boat. This afternoon will be hunt #24 and I've seen 4 deer. I've seen a few others in a neighbors field at long range, but no hunting there, so it does me no good other than seeing there's deer moving somewhere anyways. Getting more and more discouraged with each passing day. One week deep into November now and not seeing squat for rutting activity yet. Trying to be optimistic that things will change any day, but.................. Good luck!!
  22. Just squirrels and a red fox. One of these days the rut will kick in, or that’s what I keep telling myself anyways…… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Increased activity, but more importantly daytime activity, when it counts.
  24. Practically none by me. I had 6 hens visiting my yard every day all summer. Not one poult with them! Haven't seen the hens in my yard or while hunting in almost 2 months now. I have 16 trailcams out and never get pics of turkeys!
