Thought some of you might find this as cool as I do. The Wildlife Research Foundation in Maine has a streaming black bear den cam. I've been checking in multiple times each day (I have it so that it streams on my TV also). It's a female (Lugnut) that had 2 cubs back on 1/16/12. They are bigger now and with spring upon us, momma and the cubs are getting more active. If the cubs aren't sleeping, they can be seen crawling around on momma, nursing, yawning, and checking out the cam! You can hear sounds that they make also! Pretty neat! Momma changes positions frequently and has a radio collar and a tag in her ear, that might help you figure out what end is what! I am expecting to see momma leave the den soon. She looked up and yawned a few times yesterday and even stood up to stretch, but then just changed positions and went back to sleep. There's not a whole lot of action, but it sure is interesting to see this side of their world! Be sure to check out the link on the left side of the homepage called "Cubs climb all over momma". She is sitting up and you get a good view of the cubs near the cam at ~2 weeks old. (Might help to enlarge the video to full screen.) Be patient, it might take a couple minutes for it to connect to the live stream. http://www.wildlifer...foundation.org/

Sure feel bad for this one! Looks like it has an infection in it's lower leg, that has taken it's toll on the hindquarter. Possibly injured by a vehicle. Everytime I get pics of it, it's by itself...

I got a presentation to give in about 4hrs. The way I am sneezing, I would NOT want to be the people sitting in the first few rows!! They may be hit with "schrapnel"! I better go out on lunch and get some allergy meds, to hopefully clear up a little and control the sneezing.

We've been talking about it, but just haven't pulled the trigger. Sure would save a lot of money! I've found many sites that you can watch favorite TV shows online, but it would take some adjusting to do it. Certainly not as convenient as turning the TV on and scanning through the guide for something to watch. One big plus for watching online is NO commercials!! We've also been thinking about getting rid of TW digital home phone and either using our cell or trying that Magic Jack thing.

What do you take for a cold? Is one med just as useless as another? I've been taking Alka Seltzer Cold and Sudafed , but I see no improvement in the symptoms. I've tried many different products over the years, but none really seemed to work any better than the others, that would make me want to use them again. I think a stick of dynomite is the only thing that would clear my head up!

I don't know how much it would cost to ship. Maybe ~$5?? If you want them, PM me your mailing address. I'll let you know how much it was to ship (USPS) when I send them out. Then you can just send me a check for the shipping. bkln - Gotta offer to Bballhunter11, since he spoke up first. If he changes his mind or if I don't hear back soon, I'll let you know.

I got trailcam pics of 4 bucks in the past week. All were still packin' both sides.

I have 3 boxes of once fired Remington .223 brass, if anyone here reloads. You pay for the shipping and they're yours.

+1 So sick of this childish behavior/pissing contest that so many of these threads turn into! Pathetic!!!

Just because land isn't posted does not mean "Welcome". Someone still pays taxes on it and it belongs to someone. Knock on some doors to find out who it belongs to or go to the tax office and look at a tax map. Just because you don't know who it belongs to does not give anyone the right to tresspass onto someone elses property.

Last season, I was watching Wild Outdoors (w/ Jay Gregory). He was hunting from a ground blind and filmed a couple of coyotes taking down a nice healthy adult buck. Some claim coyotes can't take down healthy adult deer, but thats BS! Zemmer18 - Congrats! That is a BIG coyote!! Did you weight?
-
OMG, What a buck!! He would have made some hunter a trophy of a lifetime! Too bad!
-
Or you could just give them to the wife for dusting! LOL

I probably have more .357's (100+) and .38's (~150) set aside for you already than you'll shoot in a year!! LOL Taking care of ya! That .357 isn't use to all that "exercise"!!
