    Our friend in pa is cold smoking my doe for a week plus. He does it every year but I’ve never had it. Cant wait to try it.

    Been off her for awhile just been busy, buddy dropped a buck and I dropped a doe yesterday in PA.

    Hunting pressure in 7s is way down. Not nearly as many trucks, shots. Even in PA some camps were empty for the first time ever as far as I know of.

    Idk I need hearing this and I see almost no roadkills this year which is strange. However I’ve seen plenty of deer hunting.

    Well the old lady signed over her 7s tag to me so I guess im going hunting this am. Idk why I used my dmp in bow vs my antler-less tag. Not really a big deal anyway. (I had 2 7s tags myself, this will be my 3rd)

    Just finished this up for my son, gonna be hard to hide it for the next month lol we cut this tree down in out back yard this spring, I used the chainsaw and cut some rounds, treated them, sanded for days, poly coated them, and finished it. Was a lot of work!

    As long as your meat is not soaking in water your fine, make sure to rotate the quarters in case one didn’t cool as fast.

    Haven’t checked in all weekend, was at pa camp. NON STOP rut action for all the guys. Mostly small bucks, one got a nice 8, other missed one. Small bucks were pushing does grunting and everything. Deer count between 3 hunters was well over 50 in two days. meat processor had a PILE of bucks today, said this was nothing compared to sat.

    I just shot a buck I’d never shoot, but a single mother of 3 I know requested some meat yesterday. Thats more important to me.

    Heading to 7p with a dad and bringing a first year hunter my age, gonna try to get them on some deer. We have two doe tags.

    That’s called over pressure, I’ve seen tons of deer. Happens every gun season, if you wanna see numbers you need to be out in bow.

    Passed on hunting today, sleeping was nice with the rain. Tomorrow we will get after them!

    Get yourself a 2000 psi pressure washer and a pair of waders. Takes 2-3 hours then whiten overnight!

    Don’t shoot for shoulders, bone with any high velocity bullet is big damage.

    Sittin about 100 yards apart, basically being a second set of eyes for dad. Text message says it all lol. After he dumped his (I watched it through binoculars) the second one came right too me at 15 yards 15 mins later. Outa doe tags in 7s, got one more for 7p. the photo makes the top one look small, there nearly the same weight. Must be the angle.

    Dad and I are back up at a different property, haven’t been in this spot in a few years. Where I shot my first deer ever.
