  1. damn i'm cheap. $20 and 20 minutes at my local church and it was done. LOL
  2. Look who’s been hiding behind my house.
  3. This is southern tier zone 7 we searched every other water source around multiple properties and found nothing that day. The weird part is the same area we’ve found a random dead opossum before and also a raccoon.
  4. A friend just found this on his property, hope it’s not ehd. I told him to search all over by water and contact dec.
  5. My tags came via usps today, which coincidentally is the earliest over ever had all my ny and pa tags in hand. Time to start getting my gear ready!
  6. I move a pa stand last weekend to the atv trail with apple trees, they are absolutely loaded this year.
  7. My friend puts out “bird” feeders on 6ft poles in front of his hunting blind in his backyard. Technically not baiting since it’s “out of reach” of the deer. (He don’t ever kill anything anyways )
  8. Yeah, I have killed some deer out them, but I bought an xop hangon I can throw up in my ladder stands and hop right onto. Makes any set a double also.
  9. Havnt found a single ladder stand id bow hunt out of. I shoot most deer with a bow sitting down, the damn metal rails are always in the way of the bottom cam.
  10. IMO your vanes are only their to correct your broadhead and arrow flight ( almost like a nerf football) , I can think of a single instance where id want the front of the arrow possibly working against that. You maybe have got lucky and found something that worked though. Proper FOC, tuned bow, Proper spine arrows. Paper tuned, walk backed tunes, Bullets every time. These would ba an absolute disaster to sharpen also, i don't even goin into the field with factory sharpening anymore.
  11. Their okay, I wouldn’t use them without a drop away. And their pretty fragile if you put them through a ribcage. I’d use them again in a pinch.
  12. Broadheads don’t create spin, your fletch pattern does.
  13. IMO the course is essentially useless without a mentor afterward for a kid. Neither of my nephews remember a thing from that class even in person. Another thing PA has got right compared to NY, allowing kids to hunt and learn with a mentor before the class is required at 12.
  14. I think in the last few years between myself and my coworker we have shot about 15 deer with them. I don't see myself ever changing. I bought the stay sharp system for them too. I had to have one warrantied I shot into a tree and broke pulling/ cutting it out. New head in m mailbox two days later with a truck decal and a hat.
  15. My wife’s tags came in the mail today but mine didn’t even though I ordered 5 minutes later. 7p and 7s. You bet I had her sign over the 7p already lol.
  16. Magnus black hornet, lifetime warranty. They don’t spin straight or you break one, you email the owner and he sends you a replacement. stay sharp sharpening system.
  17. They say that, however with a new surplus of hunters zones could fill up faster than anticipated. I know speaking on pa, where doe tags are first come first serve, they are FLYING off the shelf compared to last year.
  18. My shop 2 miles away Charges $1 an arrow to cut and square. So i haven’t bought one lol.
  19. Maybe, I moved the cam but didn’t even think of that!
  20. First pull, dang branch fell and dangled in front of my cam and had to sift through 5000 pics lol. A shooter or two in there and some nice candidates for my 12 year old nephew. Tons of doe with fawns.
  21. If that’s a browning ab3 like I think it is, absolute tack driver. My .243 shoots sub half inch groups at 100 yards with Winchester silver tips.
  22. Nikon does not make gun scopes anymore, leupold if you can afford it or vortex. Vortex has impressed me for the $$$.
  23. Saw this on YouTube and thought it was pretty nifty, I’m gonna paint it still. They cost $3-$4 to make depending how much you buy in bulk obviously. 1/4” eye bolt-1 1/4x20 wing nut-1 3/8”x1” bolt-1 3/8” flat washer-3 3/8” wing nut-3 1/4 threaded eye lag-1
  24. Looks good, I simmer em and pressure wash as well. Makes it so much easier and faster. Just messy! I wear my waders lol.
  25. Their is a section that shows preference points. My wife had 1 and now its at 0 after getting her 7p.
