I shot a large buck at 200 and a good doe at 70 with 6.5 Grendel 16" AR last year. somewhat similar. 1-4x illuminated reticle Barska scope, Hornaday black 123 grain ammo.

Finally got the cam up behind my house. good bucks here too. They show up every morning and evening .

Shoot a doe whenever i can. I've got enough tags and mouths to feed and see no shortage of deer where i hunt. If shes acting funky in late Oct, early Nov ill pass. My family of four eats 5-6 deer a year. We donate a few to some families we know. Ill have 11 tags between PA NY if my wife and i both get double doe tags on high high chances.

But then again i switched my schedule to 8pm-4am so i can hunt any day lol

I would suggest a 5 day and 4 day weekend instead of a straight week off.

I’ve got a 18 f150xlt, had great luck with the ford truck leases. This is my new deer haulers, the trailer will stay at camp. Got the trailer for free, it’s heavy duty. Just got the Honda rancher last month.

I’d say every 1-2 years i loose my tags and have to geT them reprinted, then find them the next day.

I’ve got 2 deer still in the freezer and gotta make some brats!

People make multiple copies of their tags now lol, it only cost $5 to get a reprint.

Just found out they will be on sale August 10th, there is a new system the DEC is utilizing and online system you need to re register( all your information transfers over from former DECALS). I've been hearing a rumor that i cannot validate that you will have to print your tags off on paper this year if you buy them online.

Been a lot of bear neighbor hood sightings in 7s this year. Above normal

7s, have not made out to 7p to set a cam.

Not a bad crop this year, pulled into property had 2 doe and 3 fawns feeding.

I had a 2005 750, these v twins are a riot. -
Small update, i've seen it a few times, its a bit smaller than its believed to be twin, however looks healthy.

Friend took these photos 7/7/20, I witnessed it at 80 yards tonight at 8pm to confirm! It’s albino! 2 miles from my house.
