Elite has the hunt guarantee, will overnight a brand new bow tuned and ready to go in my specs if I have issues. But I do have a Hoyt charger as my backup, I kept it when I bought my energy.

15.6 foc is fine. I’d stick with that weight up front.

Nice, Ar's are very easy to throw together. I can do one in about 15 minutes. That armorers kit is WAY more than you'll ever need. My 6.5 Grendel weighs about 6.5 lbs and was about $350 without optic or sights.

you can also mess with arrow length, IMO your better off over spined with a broad head hunting arrow. i shoot a 27" draw and could use a 25.5" 400 spine arrow but with with a 350 spine 27" arrow and extra weight up front. Improved arrow flight a lot.

Elite enforcer 350s ( victory vforce v1 rebnranded) 8.7 GPI . 150 grains up front comes in at 425 grains with a lighted nock. Magnus black hornets blow through deer with my arrow going 275 fps.

Thats what i was running. killed deer just fine with it! i've only shot 1 deer over 20 with a bow and that was at 40.

WOW! What have I been missing. I’ve been using a 3 pin sight at 20-30-40 but just got a Montana black gold ascent single pin slider dialed in. The sight picture is amazing compared to the 3 pins. Anyone else have the same experience?

I could give a shit less about Kobe, he did some real questionable things but I’m not gonna trash talk a dead guy. I do feel bad for his family and others who died especially the children.

Also none of my properties I have to drag far, half the time I can drive my truck to the deer. So i go to truck and get my camo gear off before dressing anyway.

They breed well into February.

And this is the first year I used my jet sled to drag deer. What a difference that thing makes. Also I never wear gloves, keep a gallon of water in the truck to clean up, if it’s cold I wrap it in a blanket to keep from freezing.

Once you cut through and expose the meat to air anything is possible. Especially when it’s above freezing and there are still bugs flying around.

I used too, but it’s completely unnecessary. I no longer spilt the sternum or pelvis as it just opens up your flank meat and roasts to contamination and air. Sure I get a little more messy and have to carry a long knife for the anus but it’s worth it to me. I gutted 12 deer this year and 10 last year so I’ve figured out what’s easiest and best for the meat. I never cut though bone even to remove the legs and hip, hate the bone dust.

Waste of money, your ammo will be destroyed anyways most likely. Get a locker if you just want to secure it, I just use ammo cans. Fireproof safes are a waste of money unless you have serious high dollar guns and a fire dept close by.

Hang on stands are far easier to move if you have a linesman’s belt and ascender. I only gun hunt out of ladders and am not buying any new ones, I buy the 4 pack of stick sections from dicks and hangons. Minimum I go is 16 ft up to 22 usually.

The infinite bows absolutely suck to shoot at higher poundage, for your first bow I’d go to a shop and shoot all their midline bows. You can get a fully set up bow for $500-600 that you will really enjoy. Then what I did is start buying used. You’ll be amazed how many guys buy new bows then sell next year for half off. also you can find elite impulses for $350-400 new right now still. They’re $900-$1000 bows. -
