    Out in pa in an elevated box blind with the xbow. 3 doe at 20, debating if I should shoot one.

    there musta been 20-30 road kills on our way down to PA hunting last monday. all by crop fields.

    if you show your PA combination license it gets you NY bow tags. We have our kids take the pa hunter safety classes and they only have to take one instead of both classes here in NY, it also covers Trapping in PA.

    Wel we shot a doe in pa, or thought it was a doe. It had about the smallest antlers ever for a 1.5 year old lol. 15 scrapes and 20 rubs on about 5 acre area. We will be back. Tons of roadkill down there

    Making a two hour drive to PA property I’ve only hunted once. There’s some dandy’s down there and I have a doe tag this time. Bringing my xbow.

    Field edge, can see 4-500 yards.

    Well I found her, feeding in the neighbors lawn. The hit is not in the shoulder but is in fact in the front leg. I think I can hang a set near that and get her with the bow. Distance from hit is about 600 yards where I just glassed her. I would call deersearch on deer I believe to be dead, however did not suspect that after what I observed and was correct.

    I’m sure she will die, question is if I can find her as she initially ran 200-300 yards without stopping. Not a spec of blood on that whole trail has me questioning if the bullet made it through the shoulder to cause enough damage. I’ve had no issues with .243 in the past and always hunt with the Winchester silvertips.

    Welp were 0/2 on youth deer, had a small doe step out 730, he shot her square in the shoulder and not even a spec of blood. We followed her tracks and watched her run off.

    Coffee is on, you can hear a mouse fart out there. Moon is bright.

    Can only sit till 9 since the lil guy has hockey again. Bring the rattling antlers also.
