What/Where is Amato's? is the were you dropped your deer off for processing?

I live in Wingdale but I have no private land to hunt around the house so I have to travel to the club's property in Hyde Park on the other side of the county. The camp is doing well this year, so far we got a button, two spikes and my big 11 pointer. Last year we were empty in all seasons, so I can't complain this year is a good one for me. Keep hunting.

I hear ya deerpassion, and I do know what you are talking about.... Its just gets to me when people say bow is different, yeah it is so is gun and MZ. Bow you hunt in short sleeve, MZ you have 4 t-shirts on :-) All I'm saying is, let's stop the chevy vs. ford debate and let's just hunt and enjoy that awesome organic food we are all after... :-)

How's any bowhunter more dedicated? The hunting implement doesn't make you a better hunter, your personal approach to the craft does.... there are lazy asses bow hunters as are many gun or MZ hunters. It is YOU that makes the difference no matter what tool you use...IMO

Personally I don't get it what this fuss is all about. We are all hunters, we have the same goal to harvest a buck or doe, what tool does one use is a personal preference. Bow, shotgun, MZ, crossbow, who cares, just shut up and hunt and hope you get lucky and fill your freezer for the next year. It reminds me of Chevy vs. Ford debate, we are all drivers who cares what you drive, you drive what you like or can afford. Orange army this, crossbow that...I bet ya 90% of folks on this forums hunt all seasons, so I don't get it why some people get bend out of shape for bow.....like it is special, yeah its harder but that's why it starts early....OK off my soap box now :-)

OK here we go, I will be brief.... the forecast said it will be a shitty day and I said #%@$# that I will hunt anyway.....It was nice and frosty morning and I spooked a turkey and a coyote on the way in..... first stand nothing, second stand nothing, short third nothing and I'm starting to lose hope. Then I go for a walk (as my bud coach recommends) and at the end of it I see big antlers...quick action point and click....I'm not really sure if I got him since it was like 1 second....bang I go. The buck goes 20 yards and stops, I send the re-fresher this time I know I got him....I chill and wait, give him some time to expire. Then I close on him and this boy is big and I mean 180 lbs big. This is my best trophy ever he will hang on my wall proudly..... This is my first opening day buck and I'm sooooo happy I have no words to describe it...I think I need a drink.. :-)

Vet, I see them in Millbrook and Pleasant Valley a lot, heck I got my deer in Hyde Park just last week, they are there but were not moving at all when it was so warm in the 50s. They should be moving nicely now....

Stewart will be a zoo starting Saturday, I'm waiting for late muzzleloader/bow before I go there to hunt.....

That's just messed up, morons like that give us a bad name....geez dig a hole and hide the evidence.... Which reminds me of this: "....I dig a hole, I don't give a F$@%!$, its not the first hole I dug..." Best movie ever :-) I guess hunting takes a break for a while until people get back home with electricity and gas, friend of mine just today got back home with power.....this is messed up... good luck Strong Island !!!!!!!
